he is using power coating. it increases the attack power of the arrows, but the arrows keep the element. when he runs out of power coating he just loses a bit of power.
wait, if this is a lao bow then u should have unlimited dragon arrows cause avery bow has unlimmeted arrows of a certain element, for example, the jyan kutku bow has unlimmited fire arrows, they did that so u wont run out of arrows in battle.
