  • Beatifull creature.

  • man i got 2 they will not eat i had them 5 weeks

  • @wolf70128

they can be picky and sometimes go Off Eating for several months at a time I would not worry much at this point unless they are relay young and have never eaten then you may need to see your vet about how to force feed but that is only a last resort there are plenty of things to try first that a good Herp. vet should be able to help you with. Good luck :)

  • @wolf70128 Do they have hides ? Proper temps and humidity ? If the snake doesnt feel safe and secure they wont eat alot of the time.

  • tart

  • Nice and very educational video for beginners, thumps up :)

Anyway, the idea that a ball python will begin mistaking your hand with food, if you dont feed in a seperat feeding box, has pretty much ben declared a myth by now.

The good thing about feeding in a seperat box may only be that you are more able to see the snake in this natural act.

  • hes only six weeks and he's that thick?!? lol. hungry little boy..... :) i have a female whose 16 inches long (roughly 2 months old) but she's nowhere near that thick, and i feed her every seven days! beautiful little boy though!

  • @IamCOLLEGE yes well females are ALOT bigger than males like as much as 3 feet longer and 2 weeks sometimes is better than 1

  • I have found that the snake is able to kill faster than I sometimes can so i think it is a much more efficient way to kill than the neck snap that sometimes does not work. I have tried many ways to quickly and humanly kill the mice for a fresh kill feeding and I find it much more human to let Monty do what he is best at.

I never find a natural act of an animal to be "sick" . What I find sick is ppl that can not understand that.

  • I have never fed out of my ball pythons' cages. and I have NEVER had an aggression issue in cage and I don't think I will. My ball pythons trust me because I spend a lot of time in their cages cleaning an changing water everyday. I can even handle them in shed with no problems. I love my snakes and so far as I can tell that love is reciprocated with a very strong bond. HAHAHAHA cali my female is making a get away into my shirt as we speak! It tickles!!!

  • VERY KORNY

  • lmao.

    monty the python.

    hahahaha.

  • dam you put your python at alot of risk , mice should be all white or all black otherwise the mice could be wild caught meaning mites or lice could get onto your snake easyer ...

  • Great Video!!!! I can't wait to get mine...

  • she explained why u must feed outside the tank. U dont have to, its just a smart tip for smart people

  • its not for smart people becuase if you have a burmese python its a pain to move it out tank just 2 feed it

when it can beover with n like 30 mins

  • Thank You :)

  • your said some false facts like u have 2 feed outside tank WTF you don't have to ....

  • As stated below already

For the most part this is not a bad way to do it and it is just one of many choices. We do let children help feed and this is our safety rules that we go by.

  • pythons should be fed using feeding tweezers if feeding frozen anyways so it should think its getting fed when see tweezers

  • she explained why u must feed outside the tank. U dont have to, its just a smart tip for smart people

  • and how manny times has you snake bite you?

  • my bumese no times becuase my hands don't look like rabbits .... and my ball python ones when i enevr used feeding tongs

  • well ye u can feed it out coz then u can trust it nd it can trust u

  • i really want a ball python but my mum has a big fear of them, can u helólp me

  • sent you a PM with a bit of advice hope that helps good luck and thanks for your comment :)

  • Most of your information is correct except one false fact you have given.

Ball Pythons do not need to be fed outside of the enclosure. If handled normally they will not associate you with the prey when picking them up out of their enclosure unless you have rodent scent on your hand or arm or whatever. Feeding outside of the enclosure only stresses the snake out more and having to pick it up right after eating is a no no also.

  • We feel that as an extra safety measure this is the best compromise for safety. (we have sometimes several children helping, watching, and learning at feeding times) We have done it several ways in the past and have never had issues either way with Ball Pythons feeding in there ViV or in a feeder tank.

  • Yes it does cause some stress for snakes that are not handled much or that are wild caught and not use to being handled but for the most part this is not a bad way to do it and it is just one of many choices. Just as with the Live vs. F.T. debate it is all in the way your snake prefers to do it that really matters. Watch them and they will let you know what is right for them.

Thank you for your comment :)
