  • I never think of Superheroes "aging". I mean how am I supposed to believe that Peter is like 35 when someone like Aunt May is still alive??? Peter was worried about her because of her age when he was like 15. WTF? Seriously. Always worrying about her heart and shit. He doesn't look older, either.

When it comes to OMD and BND, I don't have any hatred left. I've been pissed off about this for years now and I'm done. I just wanna forget it and move on.

  • @Matriculon I think alot of people feel the same way about the conclusion to the clone saga. Unfortunately. Well the debate of whether or not super heroes should age will prob go on for eternity but, you made your point and so have I. However, either way I think Joe Quesada does a sloppy job. Also 1 more thing...Aunt May is supposed to be dead ! they keep trying to get rid of her but someone always brings her back. Thats a big pet peeve I have. I can't yet accept any Spider-Man after BND.

  • @wherewhenwhat I wish I could move on, maybe I will turn over to Ultimate, but i hate the idea of Pete being a teenager for the next 25 or so years. So for me Spider-Man stories are stuck in a state of limbo and until they give me a good reason to buy' em, i won't. Now MC2 was a word I could deal with, but they just had to cancel that, and with little hope of a return. : (

  • @wherewhenwhat a major prob I have with the current ASM run, is that Harry Osborn is around, and Norman will prob pop back up. I think If marvel truly wants to move Spidey forward, they need to at least ignore those characters for quite a while, including MJ.

  • @wherewhenwhat yeah, I know what you mean, and I think everyone agrees with you there. And Aunt May really pisses me off. For all this time that I read Spider-Man, I never really cared about her. I mean she was part of the story and always there, but I can't really say that I ever cared about Aunt May when I picked up a Spider-Man comicbook.

  • @Matriculon It's not that I hate May, it' just I feel shes no longer necessary, entertaining or effective so why is she still being included? Ya know? It's like this re-occurring madness, that some people think May is imperative to the core of any Spider-Man series, and my response is no shes not.

  • Did you ever hear of Stan Lee making Peter Parker single in his newsstrip at the same Queada did One More Day in the Main comics? I love how Stan Lee bitched slapped Joe Quesada, and Tom Brevoort and Whacker and all those pretenious whiners. I love the Bitch-Slap being that Stan retconed the "reboot" of the NewsStrip, making him a married character again when he wakes up from bed just Peter Parker did, in Brand New Day. Now THAT shouldve happened in Amazing Spider-Man.

  • @TheDevilBreaker No i didnt, but thats interesting. Why would Stan make Peter single? and then retcon it?

also is this newsstrip still going?

  • @wherewhenwhat

Stan wanted to go back to writing Peter Parker single for a while because he missed the old days, the DIFFERENCE is that he wasnt being a dick about it like Joe Quesada!

After sometime of matching current strips to Brand New Day (sort of) the same fans that wrote to marvel about changing back, also wrote back to Stan Lee requesting the same change for his Amazing Spider-Man strip. THATS been around as long as the comic. If you wana see it go to Spider-Man Crawl Space .com

  • @TheDevilBreaker Wow, thats Amazing, how do you just write to Stan Lee, and ask for something, and then get it. Thats pretty freakin unbelievable. I wish I could write celebrities or CEO's and get things changed.

  • @TheDevilBreaker when did the retcon happen?

  • @wherewhenwhat

The Newsstrip is where Spider-Man got married. Then it followed up in the comics for two reasons. 1) the publicity, and 2) because Peter Parker and Mary Jane were being shown more and more that they were meant for each other.

Anyway in the strip and comic, it happened in 1987, and After OneMoreDay, the newsstrip current storyline went back to the past to write stories of Peter wen he was in college but Peter woke up with MJ 2 yrs later because it was a dream. wana see it?

  • JOE QUESADA SHOULD GET FIRED

  • @alobo2000 I never get tired of hearing that. thanks for posting.

  • I vote for the removal of Quesada. She's worked for 20 years and part of the time, she wasn't even married to the webhead. Just because Quesade can't think of anything to do with MJ, doesn't mean someone else can't. We have a great deal of respect and attachment to some characters, and if the editor-in-chief can so easily cast that to the said, then the guy doesn't need to be editor or a writer. Just go back to OMD and OMIT and count the plot holes.

  • @tringrad50 I think many people will agree with you, including me. Thanks for commenting.

  • @tringrad50 Well looks like you kinda got your wish. Joe is no longer EIC, he actually promoted someone else. Dont believe me? i know its shocking. Check it out yourself SpidermancrawlspaceDOTcom

  • @wherewhenwhat i know

  • Quesada should step down as EIC. Marvel needs some new blood.

  • I disagree so much with the brand new day story/stories. there is still alot of things you can write about and still have peter and MJ married. why not kill off aunt may? I mean come on how long is she really going to live. they could have killed her off and base a story with better lose and that could cause the 2 to seperate but not break up.

  • @Stormsink I don't know if you know this or not, but previously in story, Aunt May did die off. before the reboot/relaunch of the Amazing Spider-Man, Aunt May did die. But it wasn't a tragic twist of fate, it was just her time to go. On her deathbed she revieled that she knew peter was Spiderman for a while and was proud of the man peter had become and was glad peter found MJ. Her death was sad but natural and reasonable.

  • @tringrad50 Now to OMD, Aunt May told Peter to let her die. She wanted peter to live a happy life with MJ, and so pete goes against his aunt's wishes?! That was such poor writing. Now pete comes off as selfish for not honoring his beloved aunt her dying wish. OMD, BND, and OMIT just have so many plot points, but ignoring Aunt May's wish is what rang loudest to me. So out of character of Peter.

  • can't Wait For the Next Spidey Talk Video

  • My Opinion is To Keep MJ IN THE Comics & Animation Tv series's

But I Agree with that they can't just can't split up MJ & Peter up or Kill her off

i think the Fans are Still Attached to MJ & Peter also its probly upto the writers or

Quesada to figure it out what they want to do with MJ in the comics & TVseries/animations But I Totally Agree with you on all the get rid of MJ or Qeuada Qestions &Opinions. ^.^

LOL 5 Star's***** Awsome Spidey Talk Video

  • @craigsgbcustomiseTV1 Thanks Craig, well for the TV series...they can do whatever they want, since kids watch it mostly, but for the comic...( not ultimate )

they need to keep MJ and Pete together, even if it means they can never have kids.

So tell everyone u know that likes Spidey to write Marvel. Lets get MJ back.

  • just mae her a minor character

  • @DRAGON244818 What???

  • @DRAGON244818 just make her a minor character

  • I don't think MJ should be gotten rid of, but maybe moved to a minor role
