I never think of Superheroes "aging". I mean how am I supposed to believe that Peter is like 35 when someone like Aunt May is still alive??? Peter was worried about her because of her age when he was like 15. WTF? Seriously. Always worrying about her heart and shit. He doesn't look older, either.
When it comes to OMD and BND, I don't have any hatred left. I've been pissed off about this for years now and I'm done. I just wanna forget it and move on.
@Matriculon I think alot of people feel the same way about the conclusion to the clone saga. Unfortunately. Well the debate of whether or not super heroes should age will prob go on for eternity but, you made your point and so have I. However, either way I think Joe Quesada does a sloppy job. Also 1 more thing...Aunt May is supposed to be dead ! they keep trying to get rid of her but someone always brings her back. Thats a big pet peeve I have. I can't yet accept any Spider-Man after BND.

@wherewhenwhat a major prob I have with the current ASM run, is that Harry Osborn is around, and Norman will prob pop back up. I think If marvel truly wants to move Spidey forward, they need to at least ignore those characters for quite a while, including MJ.

Did you ever hear of Stan Lee making Peter Parker single in his newsstrip at the same Queada did One More Day in the Main comics? I love how Stan Lee bitched slapped Joe Quesada, and Tom Brevoort and Whacker and all those pretenious whiners. I love the Bitch-Slap being that Stan retconed the "reboot" of the NewsStrip, making him a married character again when he wakes up from bed just Peter Parker did, in Brand New Day. Now THAT shouldve happened in Amazing Spider-Man.

I vote for the removal of Quesada. She's worked for 20 years and part of the time, she wasn't even married to the webhead. Just because Quesade can't think of anything to do with MJ, doesn't mean someone else can't. We have a great deal of respect and attachment to some characters, and if the editor-in-chief can so easily cast that to the said, then the guy doesn't need to be editor or a writer. Just go back to OMD and OMIT and count the plot holes.

I disagree so much with the brand new day story/stories. there is still alot of things you can write about and still have peter and MJ married. why not kill off aunt may? I mean come on how long is she really going to live. they could have killed her off and base a story with better lose and that could cause the 2 to seperate but not break up.
@Stormsink I don't know if you know this or not, but previously in story, Aunt May did die off. before the reboot/relaunch of the Amazing Spider-Man, Aunt May did die. But it wasn't a tragic twist of fate, it was just her time to go. On her deathbed she revieled that she knew peter was Spiderman for a while and was proud of the man peter had become and was glad peter found MJ. Her death was sad but natural and reasonable.
@tringrad50 Now to OMD, Aunt May told Peter to let her die. She wanted peter to live a happy life with MJ, and so pete goes against his aunt's wishes?! That was such poor writing. Now pete comes off as selfish for not honoring his beloved aunt her dying wish. OMD, BND, and OMIT just have so many plot points, but ignoring Aunt May's wish is what rang loudest to me. So out of character of Peter.
My Opinion is To Keep MJ IN THE Comics & Animation Tv series's
But I Agree with that they can't just can't split up MJ & Peter up or Kill her off
i think the Fans are Still Attached to MJ & Peter also its probly upto the writers or

I disagree so much with the brand new day story/stories. there is still alot of things you can write about and still have peter and MJ married. why not kill off aunt may? I mean come on how long is she really going to live. they could have killed her off and base a story with better lose and that could cause the 2 to seperate but not break up.
