Bipolar Burnout and Resource Frustration 1 of 2

After going through an apartment fire the city gave me a very very brief stay at a hotel, then a list to homeless shelters. I have milder symptoms with bipolar but that period put me on the edge of sanity. Luckily I found an apartment fast, but it was a very stressful period. The government really should treat people in crisis with more dignity. It would probably cost less to just house me than to give me emergency services.

It seems you're between a rock and hard place with nowhere soft to land. Government support can be shitty. I hear you. I was going to be evicted when I was in a locked ward with my children put with strangers. I did nothing wrong yet I almost lost everything. I learned the world can be cruel. I also ran into some nice government workers that WERE nice and ,for now, I am in a stable position. I had to sneak away with no notice and not one belonging to escape my ex husband. Off to next video...

I just made an appt with a mental health place to maybe get a case worker to help me with these things. I hope I qualify & it is what I am looking for.
