  • Oh man, I bet this could do great things to create flavored vodka! Think about it-after a while that taste gets flat, esp. when it gets warm. Oh, the potential!

  • Just out of curiosity Bluerayp3ki-any alcoholic beverage? Really?

  • I would LOVE to see this become a staple in the bars. Their sales would go through the roof! I mean, think about it. People drink anyway, but drinking AND being entertained by their drinks? It would be a better (and cheaper) way to celebrate a night out than those frou-frou drinks you only buy because it's fun to watch the bartender make them.

  • You know, if you think about it they probably will-at least in terms of buying your beer from the bar. If companies start using it with their bottles the bars and clubs aren't going to have much choice, right? So you're good until you buy it, since you'll know if it's been tampered with right off the bat. Now, if you're really worried about someone taking your drink I'd say stay at home!

  • Now if only companies could start coming up with something like this for your beer when you're out clubbing at night...

  • You'd think that they'd have to have some kind of depressurization button that would make it possible. Personally, I like the fact that it pops when you twist the cap because it's the perfect tamper-resistent lid. If your concentrate is mixed, someone has been messing with your drink. It's as simple as that.

  • That's actually a really good question (and I'm this doesn't post twice on me!) If you think about it, it's set to depressurize the chamber when you twist the top. How would they work around that?

  • The question is, would it work if you just sold the Gizmos? I was reading on their site (I'm a nut for things like this) that the unit had to be put on the bottle by the manufacturer. That way the chamber would depressurize. I think it would be awesome if they sold them separately, but how would that work?

  • And I think you're absolutely right, this is going to be huge in terms of getting kids to buy healthy drinks strictly because of its entertainment value! I know in high school I used to spend a small fortune on soda and other drinks from gas stations and such. This SO would have been at the top of my list!

  • I heard the Gizmo was actually originally designed to work with beer-we so need to get more innovative with our alcoholic beverages here in the States! I would imagine that since the Gizmo is designed to be used by the manufacturer it won't be long at all before we find it in family and mega packs of beverages.

  • What id like to see is being able to buy Gizmos in family packs. Coffee flavors, vitamins, bubbly things, syrups, and what ever else in packages. Say you get 10 different types of flavored gizmos and maybe 2 of each. Just think of all the kids that would buy mineral water just cause they get to shot cool stuff into the water. They would be thrilled to drink fun Gizmo water instead of fattening slow me down gassy Soda Pop. Think About It!!!

  • You should see what this thing does with a beer!

Any alcoholic beverage - Way better with Gizmo

  • Just got done watching that for what has to be the thousandth time! I was reading somewhere that Gizmo was actually started to put a decent head on a can of beer. Makes sense they'd be able to do great things with a cup of coffee!

  • This is great! Hey, have y'all checked out the video with the woman actually demonstrating how this works? I'm dying for a chance to try this out-I hear it works on coffee too!

  • Follow Me On twitter @StocksOnAlert The Gizmo Closure is the coolest thing ive ever seen for drinks.
