  • one person is forever alone

  • Does anyone know what this really icky sticky, gooey ooey, white stuff is coming out of my ears??!!

  • Magic!

  • best album ever to listen to in the fall time

  • Jeff Is my Fav. I've been playing lead guitar for many years and Beck is the Best-You will never hear anyone Play notes like him-he's a master of the tremolo and volume-his note bending is unreal-the best way to learn-"Cause we've ended now as lovers" is to listen to Sereeta sing the original version written by Stevie Wonder-Beck is that good-it is so frustrating to try and learn Beck by listening to Beck.-

  • wonderful !!

when I was high school student,I used to try to play his music.

    Of course,I couldn't play.........

But,every day,I listened to his guitar.

And now, he is not change, and we also listen to his guitar.

(Sorry! I’m not good at English. I'm Japanese.)

  • jeff and tal! a beautiful combination

  • He sounds great!!

  • The whole World needs this...

  • Jeff turns a Bossa Nova into beautiful tonal melody!

  • @rmac06 Actually this isn't a bossa...it's afro-cuban 6/8 but it is beautiful!

  • @mikemorrison281 Let your ignorance flow my friend ... bossa nova ... a 4/4 beat over a 12/8 harmony/melody ... check the count

  • @fkurselfinthassutube Ummm...you could count this in half time as 4/4 but that would be stupid...especially counting 12/8 in double time at the same time. 6/8 is the easiest way to count it and write it out...feel free to do whatever you want. I'd love to see you charts the way you prefer to subdivide it. (rolling eyes)

  • This is also nowhere near a bossa nova. Not even in the same universe. A bossa nova is strictly in 4/4 and is marked by a very particular bass pattern. "Girl from Ipanema" is the most famous bossa.

  • there is one person who is always alone..

  • this song makes me cry, laugh,dance,dream,float,think,snizz,sleep..... this song is like going to heaven or i dont know where but to a very peacefull place. this is real music listen to it justin bieber, lady gaga, and some others.

  • where can you find the real song?

  • amazing!

  • jeff beck change his blues for this but its kind of cool

  • DIVINE!!!!!!!!

  • en este disco dejó de lado aquel jazz rock y está tocando con el estilo de Steve Hackett.

    es un grande; aguante!

  • Heard this on XM's contemporary jazz station; what a great laid back groove, and what a talent! Saw him live in Tempe in 2005...

  • Jeff once said that the most important notes on the guitar are the ones that you DON'T play, not the ones you do play. When you hear all these guys like Steve Vai, Malmsteen etc, who are obsessed with being the fastest, this is when you realize that none of those guys will EVER match Jeff Beck's true genius. Jeff Beck is King, and all others are mere wannabees

  • @jlg1956 maybe you should listen to Lotus Feet or Hand on Heart by Steve Vai and Brothers or Save Our Love by Malmsteen. All of the three guitarists are amazing and comparing them doesn't make sense at all. Music isn't competition dude.

  • Probablly one of the best guitar solos ive heard

  • YOU WHO HELLO THE LAST TWO MIN IS NOTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • awesome, omg, i love Jeff Beck so much

  • many players sound like clapton, page,SVR and even hendrix.nobody sounds like jeff beck. you can tell it's him after just a few notes.anybody else have a

beef with having 2 of the best tracks only on the japanese version of this cd? those being "poor boy" and "cry me a river".could it be because the japanese have supported him throughout his entire career? just asking

  • I NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS ASAP!!!!!!

  • I heard this song on some Jazz radio station...it usually takes a very unique jazz song to strike my interest to go search for the song, and this was IT!! I has such a smooth sensational pull to it that draws you into another place that just focuses on delicate music...it's just...so soothing...Love it.

  • Best intstrumental ive heard for a long time and with subtle yet powerful performances from Tal,Vinnie and Jason......Jeff just knows how to hit the right spot

  • he proves that getting better doesn't mean to run faster scales and shredd all over like a maniac, what most young guitar players think, what it really means is to synthesize your vocabulary to the most efective and powerful tonal qualities.

hey but that's why there are millions of "guitar players" and just ONE Jeff Beck.

  • @CosmicRuna That's typically what I thought...what it's about is the tonality...the beauty behind the music. Not practicing scales. Thanks for the piece of information it really put things into perspective for me.

  • just another reason why Jeff Beck is the best guitarist in the western world these songs are just a couple of the examples of the genious of his work.... I too am a pationate guitarist but hope some day to be in the same galixy as Jeff is... will see

  • just WHY does it have to fade out at 4:07 ????

  • Enjoyed Sitting in Traffic, Listening to this Song on the Radio.

  • great album! best song on the album! has anyone tabs for this one?

  • Let's hope this great music will head guitar player toward more evolute guitar sounds rather than the usual noisy metal neanderthalian primitive sounds!

  • Best song on Emotion & Commotion.

  • is he gonna perform this live?

  • @kristofor12345 4/7 Osaka, Hong Kong, 4/18 Temecula, CA.

extrodinary!! Jeff Beck, no one else comes close!

  • Great smooth Jazz tune!

  • very awesome !!

makes me wanna make guitarfaces !!

imagine steve vai doing playing that... ;-P

  • @SuperHighGloss yeah, or a Satriani version

  • Always the best! Thanks for posting, will buy this CD....

  • love it !!

  • good guitar jam to drive on down a highway , even if you're alone

  • Tako mnogo topline ..utjehe.. i neceg obecavajuceg na horizontu..ipak malo nostalgije koja prati sve...yeaaaaah.

  • Jeff beck gotta have this cd

  • Beautiful tune. So soothing.

  • was JB a original yardbyrd ? the guy can pick that guitar with original style and beauty . i like the way he plays greensleeves

  • @dodgerfanatico yes, he replace eric

  • wow, even tho ive been playing guitar for years and now teach i can say that this being the first time i have listened to jeff beck makes me feel that ive missed out on some real soulful guitar.

As a new listener to JB - can anyone tell me what other albums/songs from earlier on in his career would be good to listen to?

  • @necklix

sweet man, yeh ive been listening to him- he's got a vast array of styles that makes it sound so much better- thanks for the suggestions man i'll keep checkin it out

  • @necklix Jeff Beck has been my favorite guitarist since the early 60's.

  • @gweetarshredder all of them. Hard to believe any guitar player had never heard of the master.

  • @MrBlasticus

mmm well i had heard of him, pretty hard not to, since he was always written as a guitar legend! But I'd never actually taken the time to sit back and appreciate the awesome style of music and beautiful tone he creates with his guitar. But yeh mate, thanks for the suggestion hahaha i will continue to keep checkin out this stuff- is really good =]

  • Never cared for JB in his younger years then I saw him on the Eric Clapton Crossroads DVD, I am really impressed with his new album.
