manual cars are cheaper in America because most Americans don't know how to drive them hahaha jk. but automatic is more luxurious and convenient for people. it has nothing to do with how rare they are.
Luxurious yes, convenient i don't feel so. My brother's automatic Land Rover is awefull when you need to go up a hill... The gears don't change when they need to.
well i own a jeep wrangler i use it mostly for off-roading and of course with a stick shift car u have more control over it... but i was saying convenient more along the lines of u dont need to worry about a clutch or stalling out on a hill or rolling back etc. but u do have a good point automatic cars are a little funny on hills.
if you become competent in the use of a manual, those concerns will cease to exist and you will be rewarded with better mileage, less curb weight, better performance
A multi million dollar race car? lol, that's not easy. Anyways, this is a hobby, some dont take it as serious as this. Read the discription, this is a COLLEGE that made this
(LL) LFS HAHAH SAME,, at the end of grade six.. i woulda been 12,, i bought a g25.. and my friend told me about lfs.. i havent stopped playing it since rofll. im 17 now hahah.. still got the same g25.. and its really worn out.. i wish i had this sim at homee.. hahah it would kill on lfs
lol i just got a 22" widescreen monitor, compared to my crappy old 17" lfs is 10x better. i think ima buy another 22" widescreen and run dual monitors
The versatility of driving as realistically as man can in the comfort of his own home, without wasting money on things such as tires, gasoline, performance upgrades, and damage repairs, while flying past corners at over 150 km/p is a reason why a person can be into a simulation game as much as they desires.
thats insane! It would be very cool to have one of those. But, just think for a while. Do you really need that sort of realism? Oh plz... Just get yourself a car. No wheel or home made cockpit will give you the feeling of g force, bumps etc... Until they put something in your brain...
Do you really need that sort of realism? The answer is, hell yea! Also they do have a bunch of differnt types of cockpits that simulater G force and bumps. Sure you could go buy a real car, race it, then repair it. Simulation racing is a fun and cheap way to race and almost get a feel of what real racing is like, I say its 100% nessisary
A cheap japanese import round the track is a lot more fun than an f1 in a simulator will ever be. If you have a part-time job, you should be able to afford to race every weekend.
I have g25 and used it on grand turismo 3. It works quite well, uses the momo configeration which the g25 understands. Only thing is the Shifter only does sequencial up and down gears not H gage.
Its still fun though and steering is great on gt3.
so this is why we didn't get very good raises this year! :P awesome work by the way! Let me know when you get the seatbelt installed... and the hydrolics. :)

its weird because in america you pay more for a car if its manual, but in england you have to pay more for automatic!!!! most of the time anyway. =D

Because in Europe 90% of the cars are manual, and in the US 90% of the cars are automatic. Rare things always cost more.

60degrees oil temp?

dimos47ki7 2 years ago
you do realize thats celcius
nerves 2 years ago
yes i noticed. the water temperature of a car engine is about 90o C under normal driving, and it can go up to 110oC when pushing hard.
the oil temperature can reach 120-130oC or more.
these numbers are a bit higher on a race car engine

how is driving a real car any different than driving in a racing sim. It is the same amount of work, think a little bit.
Its actually better to drive a sim,
You not using gas, you are at home( or school), you save money buy not having to buy tires.
If you just think before you post, you will make youtube a better place

xXxlllManHacklllxXx 3 years ago
agree with everythin u said but...driving a real car in a track is 1000 times better and more exciting than any simulator...
it's all about the feeling...acceleration, braking lateral forces...u cant compare that to any simulator.
dimos47ki7 2 years ago
dude, on real live.. you CAN NOT reset your car.
so, you CAN NOT have fun with a real car (safety)
this is fun with safety
brunoWoWps 3 years ago
i agree, but if we think like that, we should never get out of our house safety and live our lives in virtual reality until we die.
if u go to a race track, u can have lot's of fun safely...
dimos47ki7 2 years ago
this is just forfun.. not to go to work or something.
have fun with Car safetly
brunoWoWps 2 years ago
exactly, i agree. but you can't say that it is funnier or more exciting than the real think.

Actually the crashes and wasted engines are not real. That's the damn difference!
Driving a real Formula 3 car costs about $400.000 a year.
And I don't think you can put a price on a broken leg.
