The only detectable things are the games. And that's only if you don't have stealth. You can use real games without a problem :).

yeah, an early version of call of duty 5 was patched incorrectly, leading many people who didnt properly insert their own stealth get banned

Guys just follow this simple rules and youre not going to get banned:

1. NEVER play a game before its launched.

2. NEVER play a game that isnt STEALTH.

3. NEVER use MODDED games.

Thats all, 3 years with modded 360s and never banned, playing online, offline and getting a lot of achievements =P

there is no way for them to know whether you have a modded 360 simply by scanning it

they can only tell if the game you play isn't stealth, or you play a game before it is released

Of course you need a trusted source of 360 Isos, but there is a lot of good ones around the web. And you need a program to check the Isos and thats all. Right now im around 150,000 gamerscore and almost everyone was got from a backup game.

Microsoft CANT detect the firmware itself! The only way Microsoft can detect youre using backups is for bad backups, like non stealth backups, modded games etc etc etc.
