I think Tom from Milburn knew how to play guitar before all the others so he taught them somethings and so they also learn thayt style of riffs and melodies, also some ppl said Alex was more "inspired" by Miles style when he started AM so he plays more like Miles used to, all this before starting their bands and became famous
