I'm currently in a production of this and in my opinion this is the best song of the show. I don't know why this song isn't as popular as "Maybe This Time". Beautiful song though.

@Babyndally007 emcee was singing it in the kit kat club after cliff and sally (who i can't stand!) got into a fight. i've never seen the movie, but it was great live. this was hands down the best song in the musical.
