  • AUUUUUUUUUUUUU...ahhhhh the wolf is beautiful1!!!!

  • Im prolly watching this vid 3-5 times per month. And the music fits this vid very well imo. Me like :)

  • Why some people are saying this is showing the bad side of wolves I don't get. This is showing the wolf. This is what makes them so great, is their ability to have family ties. Them showing dominance is not a bad thing. It's who and what they are. Notice how the subordinate wolves are perfectly fine? And willing to submiss. The higher ranking wolves are simply saying I'm boss now treat me like it. This is why they are such magnificint animals. Because they are a family and have bonds.

  • This isn't accurate evidence of wolf behavior if a human being can sit right beside these so called "natural" wolves.

  • @Dabakane666 The song was custom made by me specific for the video. I did this video about 5 years ago for a high school project.

  • @Alphabuck 0:08 GODDAMN IT STOP THIS MADNESS!!!!!!1

  • and the song is?..

  • This is just dominance/submission "games" to establish the alpha male and the rankings within the pack. The jaw closure over the muzzle is the ultimate dominance claim and submissive acceptance of a lower ranking in the pack. It is very ritualized and prevents real dangerous fighting to determine he who would be king

  • I didn't find anything scary at all. Just animals being animals. Beautiful, gorgeous, perfect animals.

  • Also ich möchte nicht mit dem Unter tier tauschen, was er nicht immer alles einstecken muss,.. o,o

  • Love this video, menicing looking or not they are just too cute to me <3. Where you get these clips all from anyway? Ive seen many use them before.

  • Wait... how is that guy just there chillen with wolves? WTF? LoLz!

  • @LoneArcticWolf92 You are a human, dumbass.

  • @Werewolfman1334 No shit! i know im a human, i'm just saying i'm not proud of being a human, humans are more monster like than any animal alive or dead. Humans are the only living thing that kills for fun, at least when wolves kill, they have a reason, they r hungry, defending their territory. If theres any living creature that can be called evil, its humans.

  • @LoneArcticWolf92 tell me about it.............we are the worlds cancer.we spread like it.we hurt the earth like it.and when we've killed a certain spot of it,we move on to the next......i HATE HUMANS!

  • @LoneArcticWolf92

You're retarded. Wolves kill for fun all the time, it's called surplus killing. Look it up dumb ass.

  • @triippyx excuse me, but have you researched them like i have? no you did not, i study and research them, so just shut up and except that wolves arent these terrible creatures like you think, and just except that wolves are more valuable than you are. I will admit, there are rogue wolves that will kill for no reason at all but not all wolves are rogue.

  • @LoneArcticWolf92

Obviously you've done very little research, by the way, defenders of wildlife and 'BAWW SAVE DA WOOF' sites are not very reliable information. Unless you are a wolf biologist, what you think you know means very little.

Wolves, like most predators, kill for fun. It's proven, even those within packs. You are the one who needs to accept that wolves are not godly creatures who know all, or who do no harm.

  • @LoneArcticWolf92

When in the hell did I say I think wolves are terrible? I actually like wolves, I like all animals. I just know wolves are not some special godly animals who are flawless and do no harm like you seem to think they are.

They are fucking predators. They are killers. It is in their nature to kill, and kill without reason at times. Good lord.

And no, wolves are not more 'valuable' than I am. Because I can think logically. Because I am superior to them. Though I do not hate them

  • @Claudiavquiroga And that means you too, dumbfuck.

  • This video makes wolves look bad, wolves arent these terrible creatures like this video makes them out to be. I dont know why anyone would waste their time making wolves look bad. And humans are 10 times more aggressive than wolves. Humans will never change, humans will always be the same, killing everything that is better and more powerfull than them. Humans are power hungry monsters.

  • @LoneArcticWolf92 It is people who act the way they do towards wolves that inspired me to leave the christian religion.

  • wolves are just dogs raised in the wild... they can be thaught to be friendly

  • 0:42 wtf ?suprise random dude ! :p

  • Wolves aren't aggressive.

  • True. But they can be quite dangerous when they're angry. But I still think they're wonderful animals.

  • @MDthornton83 Yeah, you still wouldn't want to corner one.

  • Trust me, I know better than to mess with a scared or angry wolf! I'd treat them with respect!

  • at the beginning of the vid I see that a wolf tries to sneak away from the alpha and hes continue biting, probably to show more who is boss, isn't it?

thats a weird sign if an omega or beta wolf wants rest...

  • they look so pretty ~.^ great vid ^.^

  • @WolfWolflover1: When a wolf bites around the muzzle of another wolf, it is a sign of dominance. As you can see, when this move was made the one bitten submitted. The biting does not really hurt, but like I said, is to show dominance.

  • Nice video but What does it mean when one wolf puts his mouth around anothers snout? Like 0:13 ?

  • different meansings.

When the wolf has a friendly face then it's a symbol of love. When the wolf has a angry face then it means ''go away''

    or things like that.

    sry 4 my bad english...

  • o, 4got 2 add, yes, licking also, if the dominat one shows aggression over lesser one then the less one will lick to show sumission that is the only reason that this would be

  • saphiekitsu, lips back is not not a good sign, its a dominance sign before attack, bit like a warning sign, if the other animal does not take note of this a fight will start to prove who is higher dominance. also about the licking, grooming...only a higher pack leader or pack leader itself can do this, i also think if this man got away with any snarling etc he should think him self lucky, he must of spent months with this pack to even get this close

  • I know what most expressions on a wolf's face means, snarling, lips pulled back to show submission, but what does it mean when another wolf licks it's packmate? Affection, right...?

  • i love this movie.. i have it @ home!

  • were did u get the video

  • its not like wolves dont love thier pack memrz, its just diciplening. only it looks alot more scary to us. but its like mom yelling at us or dad getting pissd off. it just looks more scary to us beacause they are wolves.

  • @thefranster14

Even in expressing dominance, you can see the affection between pack members.

  • dogs are domesticated and raised to be with humans wolves are the ancestors of dogs and wolves wont attack humans unless the human threatens them or is in there territory or around there pups

  • Very true. There is no record of a wolf attack resulting in a human fatality. EVER.

  • FAIL FAIL FAIL. there is. i got attack but i live to tell the store so screw that. but on the show hunter hunted 2 wolves attacked and kill a man they saw him as food. but the wrong part if it a wolf attack OTHER animal get the brain. they are wild and can be deadly . and they can be frendly to.l. but dont ever let your mind of danger pass out even if it loocks safe it can attack you in a second. so you shut up.. 3 girls and there dog where attacked to. but only the dog was hurt. by a pack...

  • very interessing video!

  • ok judging from the vid the dominant wolf gets on top and bite the other wolf's mouth

    is this right?

and the other wolf just lays their as a sign of submission to the victor????

can some fill me in please????????

  • Yes.

  • The dominant wolf shows their power by standing over the pack wolf. Wouldn't you be threatened if a big guy, who looks like he was kicked out of the marines for killing another guy, suddenly came and stood over you, glaring and snarling? It's the same principle. But wolves rarely get hurt of die in battles for dominance. Wolves have a much greater sense of the worth of life than humans. Even a small injury in the wild can spell death.

  • wats the difference between dogs and wolves?

  • wolves can howl for one. I think theres also a strong instinct to remain in a pack with wolves. Thats all i have to share, if anyone else would like to add anything go ahead.

  • uuum wolves live in the nature, dogs live with people, don't they?:D and wolves would fight people if they're hungry, dog's don't really used to do that....

  • A wolf wouldn't be idiotic enough to attack a full grown human even if it was starving. The only time wolves would attack humans would be if the human in question threatened a wolf or it's pack.

  • wow that's nice... but maybe if a human is in its near, it will take it as he's threatening for it, the wolf...

  • yeah or they wont want the human in their territory

  • @AlbinoNineTailedFox Exactly, thank you :)

  • @Trollina666 Dogs are just descendants of wolves. =/ Soooo, yeah, a dog will attack a person on instinct as well. :P And wolves don't attack people because they're hungry, sorry... It's normally because the person is harming them or their pack. But it's very very rare for a wolf to attack a human being, seeing as they are afraid of us and would rather flee.

  • ummm dogs can howl too.

  • yeah but not like a wolf.

  • Dogs howl too..

  • @moofdebowl Uhm, dogs can howl too. Wolves just howl for different reasons than dogs. There are 32 different kinds of howls, each with their own meanings (calling the pack together, letting other packs know how many are in their pack, letting another pack know that they're on their territory, etc.).

  • @lfantasy13bro Dogs are descendants of wolves. Meaning, through years and years of cross-breeding from wolves, you get a stupid little chihuahua. :P

Wolves are wild animals, and live in nature. They are generally more intelligent than most dogs, though some dogs are smarter, such as border collies and poodles (I hate poodles -_-').

Also, wolves have different ways of living, since they are wild, and live in packs that work on cooperation and a social ranking system.

    :)

  • i love wolves

  • Wolves are to carnivorans what humans are to primates. They are the ultimate step in evolution in terms of intelligence, altruism and strength in as a group.

  • THey are not really aggressive this is just their way of summiting themself to the strongest of the pack and the leader does this kind of *aggression* to ensure his position within the pack

  • yeah its not even like the dominant wolf is hurting the submissive wolf. I didnt see the submissive wolf bleeding from the snout, did anyone else? And us humans regard ourselves as so great.

  • Wolves aren't stupid enough to kill another wolf just to show their dominance, because is they killed all the other wolves in battles for dominance, what is there left to be dominant over?

  • some times they have to...

  • @moofdebowl Agreed. It's sad to see human parents sometimes hurt or even KILL their children... Humans need to take some advice from wolf behaviour, I think, heh.

  • very very nice vid!

  • this is not fair you only let see the agressive side of wolves, that is why people kill them GET THIS OF YOUTUBE

  • @dimitri04 Uhhhm, look up "wolves" on Youtube. There are plenty of videos showing the beautiful side of this incredible creatures as well.

If people don't see that these animals are using aggression in a gentle way (they aren't hurting or killing the other wolves: do you see any blood from the subordinate wolves' muzzles?), then they'll never learn how they live and act.

  • @dimitri04 get ths off youtube? are u fkn nuts.. i freaking love this shiit.. u gtfo out of youtube right now fkn tree huger

  • Really cool. Rarely do wolves get nasty injuries, and even rarer are fatal battles. The the wolves are doing, showing teeth and gripping their opponent, more like threatening to chomp. If you notice, there wasn't any wounds or blood, except for the prey's blood. Battles around food are farely common all the wolves do work but some just can't wait and dare to try to eat before other wolves ranking above him. Wolves also bare fangs to warn others to protect their feeding spots.

  • @xWolfLord12x Absolutely ^^

  • Dude nice video, but do u know where i can download documentary movies about wolves and their life's?

  • please stop spamming and then maybe

  • where do you get clips like these?

  • I wish i wa that man HIG THE WOLFIES

  • It's extremely rare that pack members actually injure each other. It's all psychological.

It really makes sense, if they start killing each other it lowers the chance of survival for the whole pack. Why can't people think like that?

  • Isn't winning domination battles what makes the alpha wolf the feared and dominate one?

  • Not quite. The alpha domitates the pack by gaining respect, not by being aggressive. Aggressive wolves are more likely to take chances, which is a bad trait for a pack leader. A more careful wolf usually ends up as the alpha. An alpha that treats the pack badly won't last very long.

  • Ditto

  • separate packs

  • @gschjetne Agreed entirely... Humans need to learn from wolves.

  • some dude stole this vid from u some 1 called him a basterd

  • you know wolves arent that bad thats is just how they argue. like how kids argue with parents thats is how wolves stay aline

  • i saw this documentary recently, the attacked wolf was a poor "low ranked" female. Nice canines

  • And before her the "low rank" was a male, I doubt they discriminate. Anyway She then became the alpha female :D

  • I didn't mean that sorry, but I remember that wolf, who was a female, had a sort of low "rank" in the group so she couldn't start eating before the others had finished.

  • oooo

  • dominance/submission and aggression are 2 totally different things ;)

  • did any1 no dogs r 99 precent wolf, so cool ^-^

  • The only reason wolvs r agressive is because if there wasn't a ack structure with ranks it would fall apart. Nice vid ^-^

  • this video is fantastic, wolves are fantastic, but warnig wolves are not toys, they are born to kill

  • some of those arnet wolves being aggressive, some of them are just dominating the omega

  • yeah seriously what's it from?

  • Great video!!

btw what's the name of the documentary this is from? Loved it first time I saw it

  • wolves are mah favorite animal

  • HOLY SHIT that man go t close

  • Maravilhoso...They don't need a gun!

  • Humans are more agressive than wolves.

  • @Claudiavquiroga yeh! and we're not allowed to kill each other i mean come on... xD

  • @Claudiavquiroga Humans are the most aggressive animal on earth.

  • Wonderful images, but you`re adding onto people`s fear and misunderstanding of wolves. 1 star, bad message.

  • I disagree, I find all these clips to demonstrate well how wolves communicate through dominance and submission. Though I see your point, and agree that wolves need a better image.

  • It is not a bad message, it is the truth. Wolves are the most ferociously territorial of canids. You never see that kind of interpack aggression with African wild dogs or dholes. A survey in Minnesota and Denali showed that 14-65% of wolf deaths were caused by other wolves. That is a lot...

  • sweet

    fuck

  • Lol. Sounds like cheezy home-made 80's butt rock. Nice wolves though!

  • well if wolves are trying to keep away from humans then why are they walking on peoples backyards eating their dogs thats just want to play with the wolf?

  • Wolves ignore human's and tend to go onto dog's and some livestock. It's establishing it's territory! That's why people have to defend their dog's, sometime's the wolf may bare it's fang's. Especially if a female dg is in heat, but that's JUST a warning. Not nessicariley an attack!

    ~ Wolf

  • so u mean people have to move away from their homes so they can have dogs? when the humans lived there first? all the wolves was almost gone in sweden but then they made a law to NOT hunt wolves and now there is to many wolves!

  • No you don't have to do any of those thing's! Get a loud sound recorder and record a LOW chorus of howl's either abit within or just outside the forest they are in. Think like a wolf! Wolves are usually there first anyway's! Not many people know until they hear the howl's during either night or day. Too many wolves I don't think so

    ~ Wolf

  • the wolves were there first before you or anyone was even born.

  • do u realy think that i would care if they were here before me? nonono i dont care i like animals but not the wolf i rather got a bear around the house and bears are much more dangerous then wolf!

  • I agree. DONT HUNT WOLVES. If your concerned that badly to concider hunting them down then you can move. And if you dont want to move except them and DONT HUNT THEM. and if you do you would deserve them to ri pyou appart.

  • THANKYOU OMG *huggleglomphail* Someone with sense!

C'mon bud we gt sumone cwld CriticalBrainDamage to shoot! -link's arms-

    ~ Wolf

  • its good to see im not alone on the 'DONT KILL WOLVES' seat. lets go do some shootin'

  • wolfes doesnt only eat dogs if they get the chance to get a human baby then they take it...

  • Hmm..do I smell 'The dingo ate my baby!' story?

Also, it's 'Wolves', not 'wolfes'. By the way..I like your username.

  • DAMN YOU! SHUT UP! WHO WOULD LEAVE A HUMAN BABY IN SOME WOOD'S ANYWAY EH?? PRAT!

    ~ Wlf

  • idiot i dont have to leave a baby in the forest for it to get eaten if i just put it outside the door then its dog food...yummy

  • I'LL SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME! WOLVES TRAVEL VAST DISTANCES TO KEEP AWAY FROM HUMAN CONTACT. MEETING UP WITH ONE WOULD BE A SUICIDAL ATTEMPT. HAVE YOU SEEN LIVING WITH WOLVES? HAVE YOU ALSO READ THE BOOK? NO? WELL I SUGGEST YOU DO! BECAUSE THAT PROVES WOLVES AREN'T MINDLESS BLOOD THIRSTY KILLER'S LIKE SOME PRAT TICK'S THINK

    ~ Wolf

  • I am in totall agreemant. I love wolves, people should stop hunting them. if thereso worried about wolves that its death to the wolves for thiere peace THEN THEY SHOULD MOVE!

  • oh and not watch your kid nice u know that a type of abuse.

  • Probably would...

Don't get me wrong, though; I'm incredibly pro-wolf. I just think that people think wolves cause no harm at all. They can, though they rarely do.

Attacking wolves are usually former pets, are part dog, or have been fed by humans.

But, yeah. If a wolf is unafraid of humans, it may (may, not will, mind you! XD) take a human baby. That's why you have to be over the age of 18 and in good health to go in Wolf Park's wolf enclosures.

  • wow a wolf lover that said i was right? lol

  • wolves rock! don't mess with them, but they usually won't attack you anyway

  • wolves are lovely animals.

  • CcC

  • Yep...all about body, eyes, teeth, tongue, and voice.

That is communication. I use this a lot.

  • Thanks Alphabuck! This really is an amazing video!!

5 stars and favorites! Subscribed, and I will be waiting for more great videos.

  • wow got some angry kids on here.

i like the video its super cute :)

  • You're a fucking idiot.

  • Pathetic peice of trash, wolves eat dogs, wake up. Only cowards fight animals.

  • I am referring to the dogfighter guy, sorry if anyone might get offended. Only coward pieces of trash fight animals. By the way wolves eat dogs, they are apex predators, dogs are scavengers. Ask anyone who lives near wolves.

  • Lovely pictures. Anyone intrested in literate realistic wolf roleplay, you should check out this site I recently found - stalewolfrpg.hosted-forum. com

  • these animals are beautiful.....how they operate is even more beautiful

    Torben

  • Shweet, you should check out my wolf videos! =D

  • aww! I loved the last part ^-^ so cute :D

  • LOL! The looks on the wolves' faces!

  • that's called baring teeth...it's not a smile it means to back off

  • I was particularly noticing the wolf at the 00:43 mark.

I shouldn't laugh cause I surely wouldn't enjoy being made someone esle's uke without some kind of solid reason. What the wolf is going through is pretty tough.

  • that's true

  • those wolves faces are not ment to be funny... they bare there teeth for certain reasons like defending them selves

  • I wouldn't mess with them. A fine example? We have our own dogs, such as rottweilers and belgian malinois that can be so vicious when they're trained to attack and protect. Wolves are reported to be more potentially dangerous then our guard dogs. Yikes!

  • *than our guard dogs.

Well, not dangerous than all guard dogs, as they are bred to guard, but those wolves are NASTY if they want something dead.

  • love it
