  • WHERE IS THE FONZ

  • CHACHI ! bless you.

  • Worst theme song ever

  • RIP Chachi

  • @MCEProd22 Scott Baio isn't dead.

  • @Aeolis7 sorry fell for the hoax and misposted

  • Erin Moran had a face that could break glass.

  • this show was horrible. the opening theme song doesnt even match what an opening theme song should be for a tv show. i cannot comment really on how bad the show was because i never watched an episode, but if the opening theme is any idea of how bad the show was then it must have been God awful.

  • FLAT AWFUL!!! One of the worst spinoffs.....Only "The Art of Being Nick" was worse (Family Ties spinoff)

  • i remember this when i was a kid, and why was it a failer.what year was this 1983? thank you for the song!

  • Epic failure . I barely remember this show but by then Happy Days sucked when Henry Winkler started taking over writing and directing and making it more about Fonzie and getting all preachy

  • Oh man.............just massive failure

  • Seriously why would you want to marry Eli Manning?

  • @hailmary7283 to get closer to peyton

  • Simmons

  • My guess would have been Brady in a landslide.

  • THEY SHOULD PUT THIS SHOW ON TV AGAIN ON TV LAND OR ANTENNA TV

  • shortcake!

  • I think this is truly great, the show and their voices

  • Let's start singing and THEN put microphones in front of our faces!

  • such talent! jk

  • These were the days when intros to TV shows actually lasted longer than 10 seconds, which seems like a lifetime ago since then.

  • @RetroTVadBuff I just posted some research I did on this in another message

  • This is amazingly bad. I didn't remember it being so hideous.

  • Wasn't this song written by Vinnie Vincenet from KISS? Believe so...just prior to his involvement with them...Vinnie Cusano was his name at the time.

  • @scjklp6971 I was curious about that so I looked him up and read that he wrote most of the songs that Joanie & Chachi sang during the last few yrs but IMDB lists James Patrick Dunne & Pam Phillips as the writer of "You Look at Me". James was an associate producter of Happy Days in 1980-82 and co produced one episode of Joanie Loves Chachi in 1982.

  • If television stayed like this and reality shows never happened, I would have gladly kept my cable subscription. Instead reality shows took over the airwaves and I ended up calling the cable company and telling them to disconnect the service.

  • @63filmbuff You really have to search for good tv shows nowadays.

  • all kinds of wrong

  • Damn I forgot Mauser from Police Academy was in this!

  • OMG! I used to LOOVVEE this show. I was a Scott Baio NUT! I had his pic on my bedroom wall, lol.

Gosh, it makes you feel old, ROFL

  • Chachi in Korea means Penis

  • @RetroVGamer

No, no it doesn't. Chachi isn't Korean for anything, it doesn't even sound Korean.

  • @SophieXZombi Chachi' is similar to the pronunciation of the Korean word for 'penis' /Chya/./Chee/ n. Korean word meaning penis. Had a cute Korean girl working my chachi.

  • Sounds like Chachi watched the Brady episode where Davey Jones records the song, "Girl." Chachi just slowed the intro down some.

  • i wasnt alive during happy days or joanie loves chachi. but i heard joanie loves chachi was absolutely the worst show ever. hahah fail

  • @lopey909 I SUCKED, especially that it came from one of the best shows EVER.

  • @keithypoo31 i know right? this partly RUINED the relationship for joanie and chachi.. the last episode of them getting married is great and all, but happy days wasn't the same without them!

  • "Happy Days"starts around 1956 & ends with the mariage of Joanie & (Charles) "Chachi" around 1967 or 1968

By the time Joanie & Chachi got married & moved away it was the late 1960's,so I figure "Joanie Loves Chachi" to be in the Late 1960's or early 1970's

  • @eseloco68 J loves C happened just before they got married.

  • they deff were the most passionate couple on happy days! and my FAVORITE! I grew up on the reruns and being little I didnt understand what reruns were I thought it was a new show!lol first I had a crush on the fonz then chachi came along!lol I know scott baio is 50 now but I dont have a crush on him I have it on the charater he brought to life Charles "Chachi" Arcola!

  • 1960's song? I don't think so. I also remember Jenny Picolo wearing 80's-style leg warmers on Happy Days. I guess Gary Marshall didn't really care about timelines.

  • @Del655 During the last few seasons of Happy Days they barely even tried to make the show set in the 1960s -- although Cathy Silvers did have the flip hairdo thing going on during her first year. LOL

  • ok i'm part of the young crowed, is chachi the guy or the girl?

  • @batgirl9289 Chachi is the guy. Joanie and Chachi is a spin off show. They came from the show Happy Days. It was a fantastic show. It was better than this one not that this one wasn't good. Watch Happy Days. It will become your new favorite tv show of all time but start with the early seasons because they are a thousand time better than the late ones.

  • @RestYourHeadOnJesus thanks for the info!! i'll give happy days a try.

  • joanie loves penis XD

  • This song is 100x better than anything Justin Bieber put out and he won at the American Music awards. Not saying this is a great song, just better than what is deemed as music in today's world.

  • @Vengeance31 I`d have to agree on that one,or at least it`s no worse than Justin Bieber.

  • SO BAD!

  • If this show was suppose to be based in the late 50's - early 60's , they sure didn't do a good job in keeping with the theme.

  • this sucks worse than anything ever

  • Excuse me while I gag.

  • Elvira LUUUUUVS Yngwie...

  • Fucking Epic

  • Erin Moran is so....uggghhhhh. *barf*

  • Wah wah wah!

  • they are AWESOME TOGETHER! i choke up hearing them damn he was hot then!

  • one of the most ridiculous spin-offs ever

  • Did you know "Chachi" means penis in Korean? LMAO

  • @howzitbrah808

We now continue to "Joanie Loves Penis" (They'd NEVER show that on TV)

  • WOW! I forgot about Uncle Rico (Art Metrano). He later played Captain Mauser, in the "Police Academy" movie franchise.

  • @14DaveHunter Sad anyone would know that.

  • @fudrom Well, not everyone watched the Police Academy Movies. I quit watching them, because Bobcat Goldthwait joined the cast. Annoying comedians don't work with me.

  • Chachi is so damn cuteeeeee

  • There is a longer version of this song which was featured on Happy Days in a play they were doing before it was used for the theme song for their show. I posted the lyrics on that one. If you look to the right its the one of Chachi in a red cowboy shirt and Joanie ina long white dress.

  • And hence, Scott Baio went crazy on Twitter, ranting about his bills going to "lazy people" and all Hell broke lose when it was discovered that he was a right-ring nutjob. Baio should have kept his mouth shut after that.

  • Actually Erin and Scott dated during the show and then broke up, but the problem was that Joanie and Chachi hadn't broken up on screen. So they had to act lovey dovey when they didn't feel that way towards each other. That was the reason that they broke up on screen when they returned to the Happy Days series. They then got back together (Joanie and Chachi) so they could get married on the final episode of "Happy Days".

  • Actually Scott Baio couldn't sing as good as Erin

  • stunning this ever became a show, truly lol

  • The series should return an older Joanie's first bow Spike wants her back,

    Joanie doesn't love Chachi anymore.

  • The theme song was the only good thing about this show.

  • omg my favorite song from happy days ever

  • I was obsessed with this show!

  • I dont think Joanie ever did love Chachi

  • They tried a Mini-Fonz with cousin Spike and he ended up being Happy Days version of Scrappy-Doo. By the time JLC came on, they were in the late 60's but the hair style still doens't fit the era.

  • Man what a cheese ball song and show.

Erin Moran...if the show was set in the early 60s, why did she have that really bad 80s hairdo?

Chaichi was supposed to be this 50s rebel teen, a mini Fonz...and he starts singing this crap taht Barry Manilow would choke on?

    ugh...

  • Actually, I'm glad Chacki was not a mini-Fonz; it was nice that he was so different and much more sensitive than Fonz.

I love their songs; it's neat that Chachi and Joanie put out soft rock, not that loud raucous nonsense.

  • seriously. hahaha.

  • Very beautiful song...Great show too...back in the days of some of the the best times of our lives.

  • *Triumphant laugh*. Chachi's LEFT-HANDED; Chachi's LEFT-HANDED; Chachi's LEFT-HANDED; LEFT-HANDED; the sweetie's left-handed!!!!!!!

  • Lovely, lovely Chachi...he was my first crush way back in the old days of middle school.

  • There's always an Italian guy in a phone booth...

  • @nickatdusk

    lol

    lol

  • Any info on who wrote the song? As TV themes go, it's pretty good.

  • @rosbrughj I know that Vinnie Cusano aka Vinnie Vincent, once of KISS, wrote scores for the show(s).

I'd bet even money that he might have written or co-wrote this.

  • do you have any idea how long i've been waiting to hear that whole song? Sweet!!! thanx!

  • THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!!

  • Show aside (and definitely singers aside), this is a great song. I would love to see it redone properly.

  • THIS BRING BACK SO MANY MEMORIES

  • OMG!!! I loved this song and sung it all the time. I was such a geek!

  • omg this takes me back. i think im gonna cry! Again! LOL
