  • I relly missed them. However, I'm not thrilled with this cut.

  • I love this band, makes me believe ;)

  • Make a band like this please! I beg all the bands of today...

  • Wake up! Wake Up! It's the first of the month........

  • Primera vez q escucho el tema y me gustó. Esta noche los veré en Lima!!!

Este tema suena a The Beatles.

  • EU TBM VOU NO SHOW!!!!! DESCULPA AEW

  • EU VOU NO SHOW XUPAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Love this song

  • very Beatlesque...

  • Tears for fears coming to PERU !

    yeahhhh !

    =)

  • Wake up, wake up,

everything is moving faster than you think

your pen is running out of ink

fill up your bath and kitchen sink

you're really kicking up a stink

you never found the missing link

I just love the end of this song. :) <3

  • love Roland always

  • i like this :)

  • So Classic so Happy Memories

  • Very beatles-esque. As ever.

  • When people say this isn't Roland's 'old voice', that's because he is using his head voice these days, instead of his chest voice. It's easier on the vocal cords .

  • @csrogc63 this is true

  • Sounds like the Beatles.

  • elahe but nobody wants an ending. TFF rules 4ever & ever & ever...............

  • @eltirano28 That's Curt for ya! ;p

  • back to the sound of the 60s... TFF re-.invented??

  • I saw this movie online for free at HuluFilms (.) NET

  • This is so bad. And that's coming from a big fan of TFF.

  • is the little drummer boy trying to steal the show...or did they need to turn Curt's mike up?

  • the return of the prodigal son tears for fears.paul mcarthney`s favorite band

  • Are you being facetious or is this true? They are really Beatlesesque, especially with that song Sowing the Seeds of Love, in fact, I think they cover All you Need Is Love too.

  • @drewlsy oh yeah, theyve gone beatles all rite, this album continues from the seeds of love.

  • @hwr1996 really? you know what's said, that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But do you like it? Musically speaking, apart from this.

  • @drewlsy yeah, i was once a huge beatles fan, but the 80s got the best of me!, TFF RULZ!!!

  • The Early efforts of this band made them trend setters and it's a shame they've resorted to copying the Beetles considering. They still sound great but I think they lost the initial vision that made them at one time a great band. So what if the album is a tribute to the Beetles? How about a Tribute to Tears for Fears?

  • @bongobingoaz- I know what you mean. I don't mind this Beatlesque title track but there were some obvious samples from songs of The Beatles/Paul McCartney used in songs such as 'Secret World', 'Who Killed Tangerine?' and 'Killing with Kindness". They were unnecessary. My only criticism of their last work was that they really did try to copy Beatles and those similar bands of the 60s and 70s. Otherwise, it is actually a good album.

  • @bongobingoaz I personally love this album and felt they had grown as a band

  • Oh wow. This movie is SO true!!!! IF i had to take care of my father i would be just like this! I watched this film at thefreeonlinemovies com

  • Definetely a blend music, something between Pink Floyd and Beattles. I don't know, I don't recognize TFF in this song, but I must admite the guys reinvented a style. They are on their own trip (and getting old). For sure!

  • La mejor Banda de los 80 sin duda. Ellos estaban adelantado a su época.

  • Ya..uh..Ariz and goaway...They pretty much built this entire album as more or less a tribute to the beatles AND, FYI Mr McCartney has said this is one of his most favorite albums. Just so you know. I mean I would appreciate it if some one told me I had pissed my pants and wasnt aware of it.

  • dark side of the moon+magic mystery tour?

  • Acoustically, not the best place

  • Does anyone else think that Nicky D is over doing the drums a little bit and over powering Curt's voice? I can't hear Curt at all.

  • I was just listening to this (not watching) and I thought "what the fuck is doing Paul McCartney in this song?". Huh.

  • LOL i feel same way u feel .Roland should have sing his own songs like >working hour and evry body wants 2 rule the world .wow i must say imshock and dissapointed in both of them coz they both went out of their own well known voices here...

  • @ariznabarreta You hear things.

  • Soon I'm gonna have a band and I'm gonna play TFFs songs with Roland on my band's Unplugged show.

  • Can't stop smiling while watching this!

  • just a touch of Pink Floyd

  • it is so beatles.

  • Both great bands.

This song particularly reminds me of

"A Day In Life" by The Beatles ;D

  • "Art is what you can get away with".

    - Warhol

Admittedly, it does make life more interesting.

  • TFF FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow!

I just discover this song 20 years after the seeds of love.... They are so taletend!!!

  • This is really good , kinda beatley, but good.

  • Kinda beatley = GOOD

  • Wake up is definitely what I need to do. Falling asleep over the computer at work. Many sleepless nights preceded my going to Vegas for the concert and haven't slept much afterwards either. Dying here!

  • I meant "preceding my trip to Vegas." Gosh, can't think straight.

  • You actually said it right the first time.

  • These guys are so very talented !!! They sound great

  • Does anyone know if there's another album yet?

  • go and visit facebook curt smith account for updates.

  • A dream that most likely will never come true... to see a Tomcats live concert. Sigh! Just love that cd so much. Sigh!

  • That would be a "dream come true"

  • Reminds me a lot of the Beatles. Awesome.

  • curt u r one hot shit! i would do u when ur 99

  • i cant hear curt at all :'(

  • yeah, just noticed that, only Mr. fancy drums back there is trying to sing harmony with Roland, when Curt is the voice for the job. 20 years ago Curt would have turned and hit the drumboy with the bass over the head.

  • LOL! mjgravina, your comment just made me laugh and almost fell off my chair!

  • LOL! Why couldn't Curt still hit him over the head with the bass. The drummer boy deserves it. He thinks he's all that.

  • Nick D'Virgilio on drums?

  • That is Nick D'Virgilio of Spocks Beard on drums. He's toured with TFF and also played on Roland Orzabal's 2000 solo album "tomcats screaming outside".

  • Thank you!!

(I love Spock's Beard!! I've seen (here in Italy) they live 2 times with Neal Morse 2000 (before Dream Theater Metropolis 2 tour) and 2001 or 2002 with no other band after or before!!)

    Regards!

  • What song it is?

  • Everybody loves a happy ending from the album Everybody loves a happy ending

  • It's awesome how in some places they really sound like the Beatles.

  • I think that their last album was maybe the best of them all...!

  • ya but they still kick ares

  • They are one of the best bands EVER! Love this song; love everything they do!

  • Me too. I've been a fan of theirs for a long time.

  • @bgoldrock

    I totally agree.

  • soooooooooo beatles!!!!!!!

  • I couldn't put it better. But excellent anyway!

  • Anyway... After beatles e floyd, this is the band of my preference

  • well... this song has a part too similar to "A day in life"...

  • ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MUSICIANS

  • Listening to this for the first time and I'm thinking WAOW!!!! is this a track from the ABBEY ROAD sessions that The Beatles never released and was discarded to the cutting room floor??? Fcuk me this was The Beatles but much better than Oasis.... I liked it....

  • breaaaaaaaathe... breath in the aaaair...

  • beatles influence, they are good, the english comes out in them. like it

  • Right. It does reek of Sowing the Seeds. But I still love them.

  • Fuck it sounds like sewing the seeds.

  • I think its just talent that can't be suppressed. They 40+. This is just ridiculously good. For the love of all thats holy, just listen!!!

  • Actually Curt and Roland are approaching 50.

  • Roland was born August 22,1961,the same year as me!yea! Not sure about Curt.

  • Yeah...Curt was born June 24, 1961 too. They have lots of things in common, that's why Tears for Fears is Curt and Roland togheter (L)

  • It's exactly the way that it was meant to be. Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal together.

  • Curt is older than Roland by 2 months and 2 days.

  • He isn't older 2 months and 2 days. Coz Roland born 22 August 1961 and Curt, on the other hand, born 24 June 1961. =P

  • Yes he is.

    24-22 =2

    8-6=2

Curt was born in June and Roland was born in August. They were born in the same year but Curt is older.

  • Unhm, maybe I misunderstood what you said, because here in Brazil we say things in a different way, for example: I suppose you meant that he's almost 2 months older that Roland and two days of difference between them. I would say here that he's a month and something older than Roland. =)

  • You don't count June.

    1. July

    2. August.

For the day you subtract 24 from 22 and you get 2.

  • 1961 June 24

    1961 August 22

the difference: two months MINUS two days

  • I will buy the album and have a good liston, they are my fav band from the eighties.

  • i love it when they (3 of them) sing together..sounded so gooooood

  • love it.. so beatles

  • i was just thinkig the same thing!

  • its like beatles and pink floyd combined dontcha think lol

  • I have noticed that Roland's dental work has altered his voice. They still sound amazing, just different.

  • I think it's because he was classicly trained and used his classical techniques in the beginning, but over the years he has re-trained his voice to be more rock and roll sounding. I like both voices, but wish he would use his orginal voice when he sings the 80's song today.

  • For me the begin it's the same of Breathe Reprise of Pink Floyd...

  • good catch i thought the same exact thing

  • One reviewer actually mentioned when 'Everybody Loves a Happy Ending' album was released that it (the title track) takes The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention from one side and blasts out from the other side with something really special.

  • Love these guys! And they're still awesome! Great performance. I've really become obsessed with their music lol. I could listen to their albums for hours and hours and love every minute. One of the greatest bands ever! :D

  • Very true!

  • There not as quit as great as U2! But they are one of my favorites!

  • I second that...getting really not much sleep for the past 3 (approaching 4) weeks from watching TFF videos. Still not enough for me:-) TFF is the greatest most underrated band ever.

  • tears for fears rocks love the raw music they always make

(by that i mean the sound same like the album no protools)

  • The baby eyes are green..

    Wohooo!

    :P

  • Gotta love the non-lyric stuff in the songs of TFF....lol.

  • huahuahuauuah

I love Roland's "Wohooo", his voice is incredible (unfortunatelly he acquired that classic English accent.), and his strange dance styles are amazing too. :P

Curt sings a lot and plays bass like no one *-*

    They're so.. incredible. *-*

    x)

  • I know! Aww I love the accents =D

  • omfg...HippieGirl34 is like me or something like this. XD

hard to find girls like you today.. -_-'

    ah..the video..? xD

    love TFF (L)

    they're ALL *-*

    hey Roland! hey Curt!

We NEED a new album! =D

  • LOL hrg007! XD

I sure HOPE they do a new album....it seems each time they do one it's better than the last...maybe they just can't top Happy Ending. LOL. TFF are the best!

  • /o/

    =P

    T4F 4 ever x)

  • TFF Son los mejores!!! Su música ha sido escuchada por decadas y no como los pseudo cantantes de ahora que son de plático. Los TEARS arriba!!!

  • Que tal Bajo (bass) es Hofner?

  • we want another album and tour best band with the best fanbase, come on lads we need our tff fix and 08 is the time.

  • T.F.F!, por siempre

  • yeah. we got old together. sounds like a song,...

  • Technically the band didn't totally reunite, I mean the keyboardist and the drummer weren't there! Well anyway its good those two (Curt and Roland) worked out their differences and got back together and now are making the best music on the planet again yeah!!! TFF forever!!! Never break up again!!!!!! Or else! (kidding)

  • Yeah, it would be awesome if it was a complete reunification. The only problem I can think of is that Ian Stanley (keyboardist) though his synthesizer work is brilliant, I'm not sure it will fit perfectly with todays music. Tears for Fears music has changed alot from the Hurting.

  • Tears For Fears never had fixed keyb and drummer.

TFF IS Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. =)

  • Tears For Fears never had fixed keyb and drummer.

TFF IS Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. =)

  • Sicko........

  • Stupid reply system......I wasn't talking about the video that was supposed to be under some otehr comment..........TFF rules!!

  • They're still totally the best band ever!!! I still have the weirdest crush on Roland and Curt to this day! Roland still has the strangest expression on his face when he sings, and Curt still sort of looks like he has his eyes closed a lot when he sings lol! Watch Pale Shelter, and then watch this....yeah.....a lot has changed but they still rock and I still literally love them even though they are 46!

  • So glad they're back together. Tears for Fears is the band of the milleniom. This song rocks!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW! Great music and a great performance too boot! Hope they do another album soon.

  • Totally!! Another album would be like.....i dont know.......complete AWESOMENESS!!!!!

  • This title song along with 'The Devil' and 'Ladybird' are some of the genuine highlights of TFF's latest album. Once again, Curt's bass playing is amazing! Look at how he switches between his plectrum and fingers while playing his bass. To top it all, he also sings along with Roland. Just a treat to watch!

  • ajittffcure, so glad that u apreciate Curt's bass playing. He's such a treat to watch with his bass:-)

  • great stuff! not to mention that the GREAT Nick D'Virgilio on the drums!

  • These guys rock!

    Thanks for sharing this video!

  • I love these guys !!!!

  • Show de bolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • Hope they could sing this one with Paul McCartney.I think vocal style is him.;>

  • Quite obvious influenced by Sgt.Pepper's Album of the Beatles....Felt like hearing A Day In The Life, but Thanks!!!Guess majority of the bands are influenced by The Beatles.

  • What an amazing song! Just look at Curt's bass playing. It is fantastic and he is often overlooked as a bass player. He is not just a great singer but a equally great bassist.

  • I think Roland is still hot!!! He is getting older gracefully..Curt looks great too.... hell, everyone of us will not look as good as we did when we were young pups..I just turned 50!!! AAAAHHHHGGGGG!!!

  • I went to the july 29th show and gary jules closed his set with mad world, and tff opened with mad world, they did not sing to together. It was an awesome show

  • Is anyone here gonna see them at the amphitheatre on July the 29th??? I WISH I could go!!!

  • Isn't Gary Jules gonna be there with them or something? I wonder if they'll sing Mad World together.

  • Yes he is, and they probably will sing that with him. I like the TFF original version though.

  • Yeah. I don't even like Gary Jules version, but I think it would be cool to hear them both sing it. It will be something new for TFF fans.

  • roland and curt rule-i sure do miss the new wave era

  • Wow, this is great; I expected much less from a comeback album!

  • in light, and all my love, to you both, so happy you are together again,i am sure you truely missed each others friendship,???????????????

  • I'm speechless. I guess they showed up!

  • WAKE UP were holdin on for another album am i right PEOPLE??i went to watch when they toured this album in the UK a couple of year ago AS ALWAYS IF NOT MORE SO AAAA1111 more stuff now please

  • Lots of people sound like the Beatles because they were such a HUGE influence on modern rock. I think TFF's new album is their best!!!

  • Great band...my favourite must to say...ROLAND & CURT...TEARS FOR FEARS...this is the music for me...thank you TFF!!!

  • LOVE the Old Tears for Fears, but this sounds TOO MUCH like the Beatles

  • This is great, great stuff. Tears for Fears Rules the World. Great artists, these guys. Thanks for posting.

  • There are so many bands that are huge in Europe that don't get that same kind of acclaim in the US. I think one of the appeals of their music was their Beatle-esque harmonies and overall sound. Roland sounded terrific here. These guys are great.

  • is it Nick D'virgillo from spocks beard on Drums ?

  • Yeah that's him.... He's been playing for them for a few years now

  • Man, that does sound like the Beatles.

  • Excelente a los beatles lo llevan en la sangre

    Genios
