  • Dear God! She's so sexy! I could be here listenig to her forever! Bravo!

  • I don't have the music :(

  • Wonderful musician, beautiful woman!!!

  • great lesson of Sara, his interpretation of a fragment of 4th horn of Beethoven's Ninth has a level of complexity atlo but with the advice and recommendations of Sarah, seems to be easy. Great horn player, congratulations

  • Sarah- "I'm going to try and play this even though I'm a low horn player, when else do I get the opportunity to play this? Haha!" *plays one of the hardest excerpts in the horn repetoire perfectly*

    Me- -_-

  • 素晴らしい

  • I see a ring on her finger.. who ever married this woman is the luckiest son of a bitch on the planet.

  • Make more of these!!!!!

  • Bravíssimo Sarah Willis. Wonderful Horn. Hugs from Brazil!!!

  • I worship you, Sarah, as a horn goddess. Thank you!!!!!!!

  • Wow, that excerpt from Beethoven's 9th is really tricky! But this was awesome! :D

  • Love you Sarah

  • she plays the till eulenspiegel excerpt better than ive heard most 1st horns play it! phenomenal!

  • Her horn is soooooo shiiinnneeeyyyyy!

  • My jaw drop when i hear her play. She is amazing with all the low notes. All the notes that she played was so full and round. I'm gald that I have found such an amazing video. This really help me a lot.

  • Beautiful woman, marvelous horn player.

  • drool.

  • What I find funny is her humility. She's in the Berlin Phil for Christ's sake!!!!!!!!! She's probably one of the best in the world, despite being a 4th horn.

  • Sarah, you are charming person!

  • What a fat sound she has

  • That 4th horn part is so important in the slow movement of Beethoven's Ninth. Thanks, Sarah, for illuminating this part.

  • does playing the french horn for a long time change your mouth shape?

  • @charizianne only if you fall out of your chair and the mouthpiece breaks all of your teeth out, otherwise, no

  • YouTube Symphony Orchestra? #$^%#^JG????????

  • I agree and sign below.

  • Can somebody tell me, where to make the fine line between low and high horn parts, when composing music? Would appreciate your advise very much. Thanks :)

  • @FilmComposeRaHoppe 1st and 3rd horns are the high horns, and 2nd and 4th horns are the low horns.

  • please do another youtube masterclass!

  • I almost made a post saying how good your english was, then I remembered that you were born in the US. Good master class. Trombones are better through ;D

  • Sarah i love you!!!!!!

  • Are you the sister of Bruce?

  • Bravo Sarah Willis. Wonderful. Congratulations. Hugs from Brazil.

  • she is charmy!!!

  • Sarah, that was Awesome.

  • Even if she is an awesome low horn player... I really think it was the best "Till Eulenspiegel" I heard!!!! Fantastic!

  • You are definitely the most beautiful woman in the entire world and I only wish you had played more during this class because you play beautifully as well.

  • Sarah, das ist sehr gut...

    Auf bald im Konzert?

    Tommy

  • Yum! Delicious pedal C's. So much better hearing low players do the Til

  • Thank you, Sarah Willis!

  • Low notes sounds like bass trombone. And she's completely relaxed at all times. (And easy on the eyes ^^... )

  • She's such a darling! :)

  • It must be great playing in that hall.

  • I love her personality. And that she has kept her accent. I take it she knows German as well

  • Iam sure this will be one of the most watched horn videos on youtube, I like the way Sarah says "I will try and play"..... then goes ahead and plays it fantasticley with apparently no effort at all!

    Thankyou

  • thank you very much :)

  • I love that Woman is the best horn player in all the planet = )

  • You're such a great inspiration Sarah, thank you so much!

  • THE master of the low range. Look up the Berlin Horn Ensemble on here if you guys and gals want to see more of her low playing. It's sickening how good she is.

  • Terrific Strauss solo! You should play it next time the BPO does the piece.

  • fantastic, from venezuela, I like her sound

  • I like her :)

  • I think, you really have to :)

  • I used to think high horn was the most impressive register, but I've become more and more and convinced that low horn is without a doubt far more worthy of praise. Ergo, Sarah Willis is a goddess.

  • @Haeronthegreat Sounded like trombone!!

  • @Haeronthegreat Sarah is surely a great low horn player, but she's pretty fine all over the horn. Check out her CD "Trio."

  • @Haeronthegreat I agree and sign below

  • @Haeronthegreat I agree and sign below

  • @Haeronthegreat i m soo good at low horn and its the best thing because often there is a lack of low hornists

  • @Haeronthegreat they both have their cons and pros and areas of praise. I think they are equally impressive. What is most interesting is that you have to develop your low register before you can develop a great high register. You can play low horn for quite a long time, but it takes a lot of endurance building to play high for a long time.
