  • That is the sound of an aeroplane orgasm.

  • You have to say that's a beautiful sound :)

  • "An altitude allowing for a safe landing in the event of an engine failure"

  • Animated video, they have quite an extensive list of videos.

  • (T)ROLLS ROYCE

  • what's this plane? a Spitfire with two engines..? light bomber?

  • @wrigleyx I could be mistaken, but I believe that twin engine plane is a Mosquito.

  • @wrigleyx It is a Mosquito which was constructed mainly from wood and a tad faster than a spitfire, so fast it did not need guns although some did have nasal guns fitted. A general all round fighter/bomber.

  • Goosebumps all the way listening to that!

  • Love these old birds, only one thing could make this better. ZZ Top waving them on.

  • they sound so sexy i so love that old sound !!!!

  • So that what it must of sounded and looked like in the war, it's like a step back in time. Very cool!!!!!

  • i cant tell if this is computer animation or not... nice work

  • Is that footage from "633 Squadron"?

  • I'm a Yank but still think the Mosquito was one of the most beautiful planes ever built.

  • GOOD GOD!! they sound well!!!

  • as far as i`m aware there are no airworthy mossies. ( the last flying one crashed near Manchester in 96, a sad day) i believe there's 27 still in exsistance & there's some jolly nice chap in new zealand building one from scratch. if it is built, i do hope they bring it back to its old training ground here in scotland

  • Oh so wonderful.

  • I JUST WANT ONE......

  • Love the Mosquito bomber!

  • dang he must of had 1,000 dollar graphics card

  • That's THE best cgi I've ever seen. You know it's good when your mind starts out taking it as real, then realizes it's cgi....but keeps thinking it's real. You know it's good.

By the way, aren't the engines in the Mosquito RR Griffins?

  • can u imagine being at 0:12 spot?...

  • @predator5723 In an FW-190? Yes I can. >:)

  • i found that surprisingly easy to masturbate to.....

  • this is awesome vid

  • this video should be called Merlins magic

  • I Would Do Anything to see 0:11 in real Life It Would Make You Feel so Proud of your country (plus Hitler Has 16 youtube accounts)

  • what game is this?

  • Is that Cliffs of Dover?

  • the flypast from 0:11 to 0:20 is awesome!!! I LIKE IT!! Pure expression of power

  • This video clip is absolutely incredible! Thank you for posting!!! Those Merlin engines are simply magical to the ear!

  • i thought that this was real.

  • IF IL-2 looks this good

  • V 12 RULES.

  • Now we need them to get real Mosquitoes flying again

  • Fake, but definatley not gay!

  • this is cgi too, hard to tell

  • Creator of this CGI moive is Mr.Tochibayashi. His latest CGI work is on Youtube. Search "Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands 2/3 (US Navy vs Japanese Navy)"

  • @yuzotasaki This came out three years before the battle of santa cruz and has nothing to do with this video you can see the diffrents in work ..

  • Suuuuweeeeeeeet.

  • Jesus christ, it looks like Xplane 10!

  • These Merlins sound better than a Ferrari

  • @LibertyBelle7 does a farrari's motor cost 60,000 dollars alown.

  • @LibertyBelle7

    They'll last longer too.

  • @LibertyBelle7 That's cas they ARE better than a ferrari! :D

  • These sound better than Ferrari engines!

  • These sound better than Ferrari engines!

  • also ich werd den verdacht ich los...

  • animation :)

  • TOCHY's Work! Glad to see it still fools ppl. Google Tochy Suppon" to find him, or watch my "PROUD AND GLORIOUS" collaboration with him at my chan. Nothing but the BEST!

  • must say, wow, i rather like the grifton engine, mossy's and mustang's,but hey.love the sound

  • must be the best sound in the world!

  • Comment removed

  • i didn't know that WW II is still going

  • Why can't FSX look like that!!

  • well damn, that was just beautiful

  • Today23-03-2011 there is NO flying Mosquitos - but picture and sound is fantastic - thx :-)

  • @perhugoclausen Really? Thats a real shame, they were an awesome airplane. You would think there would be at least a few floating around airshows.

  • @SonOfRDGear A damn shame! All I can think is that it's too hard to keep the wooden structure sound enough to be flight-worthy...although there are other wooden planes still in the air, as far as I know. Maybe just replicas? Someone should make a Mosquito replica. It's one of the very best planes of the war, all around. Mosquito FB Mk VI FTW!

  • @justforever96 the combat service life of the mosquito was pretty short - the german aircraft structures were very much less robust than the mozzie, notably the glue...

  • @justforever96 the museum @ point cook near melbourne victoria australia are building one up from scatch.

  • @justforever96 There is one being rebuilt and almost ready to fly in Auckland, NZ

  • @justforever96 One is being restored at Auckland in NZ

  • @justforever96 Mosquito wasn't durable because it used an animal based glue. The Auckland aviation restoration society told me this

  • @justforever96

We had 2 in England some years back, one went to America because the owners could not get enough sponsorship here with another flying as well. Sadly the one that remained crashed killing both crew members. I don't know if the one in the US still flies? I think Kermit Weeks had it when it first went there.

An old Flying Fortress pilot told me a Mosquito passed him on the way back to England with most of one engine shot off!

    Truly a thing of beauty.

  • @justforever96 its because its a wooden composite, its too difficult to inspect the condition of 70 year old wood sandwiched together. Even if there is no rot, the glue wasn't designed to last that long. Furthermore it would be very difficult to reconstruct the aircraft the same way it was built (wooden tubs formed over a mold). However I do believe there is at least two restoration project happening.

  • Lovely! Thanks for posting.

  • this is animation?! wow...very nice.

  • God I Love these planes!

  • Great engine from the UK, plus a Great airframe from the US, equals the greatest fighter of all time, the North American P51 Mustang.

  • @1vdn992

The construction engineer of P 51 Mustang was Edgar Schmued, a german! His chief was James Kindelberger, the son of German immigrants. :)

    Best regards from Germany

  • @beggerow hahahahahahaha brilliant

  • @beggerow

They were American when it REALLY counted...

  • @deetjay1 The USAAF had about a hundred or so Mossies, doing mainly recce and weather research, but seemingly none that were used close air support or attack. British built, with a British engine, designed by Brits. Awesome. As indeed was the CGI clip that started this trail... well done the author - very convincing, and sadly no flying Mossies (yet) to recreate it for real.

  • Very good indeed.

  • Dear RAF, please fly super low over me in some of those when I'm sunbathing in the garden in the summer...thanks.

PS, please do not send the typhoon over again, i was napping and the afterburn scared the crap out of me

  • @ferahgo90 haha

  • @ferahgo90 haha

  • This is fantastic work. The only minor flaw in it is the way that the river in the first scene is a bit flat. If it had a bit of sparkle the video would be pretty much flawless. Well done to the creators!

  • What game is this

  • I say chaps!

    Dam the hun,

    heads down .

    Tally Ho!

  • wow! How did you make this video? Its hard to tell, but near the end i almost looked comuter made, verry good, I would love to know how you did this :D

  • just amazing

  • This is real, probably at Duxford england

  • @badsletje It isnt.

Computer generated graphics + Duxford looks very different.

  • SWEEEEEEET!

  • @dontsqueezethecheese. True if this were real and shot from by a camera with lower frame rates but even still they would capture different engine settings causing the props to turn differently. Still great CG though.

  • The planes that saved Britain.

  • this is fake?Wow!fooled me

  • That's just plain HORNY!!

  • I love this sound!!!

  • Lovely to watch. Lovely to listen to.

  • What made me realize this was CG was when I noticed how in the shots where there were multipule aircraft their props were perfectly in sync. Amazing CG!!! I love it!!

  • @VonAlb Thats got nothing to do with CG and forgive my lack of technical knowledge but it's something to do with the frame rate of the camera used, which makes all the props appear identical. I'm sure someone can explain it better.

  • It's a wonderful CG works. Very Impressive and the sound quality is purely incredible. Wonderful vid and work. Congratulations to the author.

  • I was waiting for an ME109 to drop in and shoot 3 or 4 of them down in one pass.

  • i comment again this is so real i dont belive you guys its real and if not what have we got goin on in the world today

  • Hahaha, I love how on every real video, people scream "FAKE!!" and yet people don't want to believe this is actually CGI! People are never happy!

  • no camera shake on close fly by gave it away for me too

  • There is no f@%$ing way that is not real!!!!

  • @Jose88w

Of course it's not real. Take a close look at that aircraft landing in the end. It doesn't disturb the ground in any slightest way at all when it lands...

  • @Aenigmaa What are you blind? It kicks up a dust cloud as it lands. This is great CG, I've never seen better!

  • @4thstooge

True. I did not see the dust. But I didn't say the CG was bad or anything. It's great!

  • @Jose88w I think a few of them are real. Most of the background planes are CGI though.

  • wot? it´s not real?

  • Oh snap this is CGI? Damn!

  • @RADIOACTIVEBUNY why does it look much better than the crappy "Pearl Harbor" - movie?

  • What better than the sound of a Merlin engine? TWO Merlin engines!! Mosquito a legend

  • This is CG? Ace Combat needs YOU.

  • shit it IS cgi. apologies to the poster! very nice. My Dad flew these in WW2 for the 109 Pathfinder squadron. love these planes, and he had some great storys.

Thanks for thepost man, very entertaining.

  • Nice one..

  • These planes were the result of Germany starting something that they never should have!

  • yea what wow CGI

  • just wonderful!!!

  • Astonishing! Best CGI I've ever seen.

  • for CG it is good, but this is for kiddies. We want the real stuff on YT.

  • This was done by Masaru Tochibayashi aka "Tochy Suppon". I've seen some other stuff he's done... the guy is incredible.

  • Now if they could make air combat games look like this, that would be something.

  • Too good for too little..

  • thats impressive , thought it was real myself

  • the best cgi i have ever seen

  • excellent cgi

  • This vid was originally made by a Japanese guy forgot his name but too bad he is not making more of these still. It would be interesting to know which Flt Sim program he used and this was made a few years ago.

  • Really good animation, i didnt even see it at first.

Think whoever made this overlayed a 3d animation onto live footage btw, (unfortunately) looks way too good for a flightsim.

  • @dbarl64 Guess no one knows its been dbated about for couple years as to what

cg program they were made on and the designer has not put out any more clips.

Too bad. Maybe professional Virtual Animation studio work.

  • Are you telling me this was done on a pc?

  • beau-ti-ful.

  • Why the hell are you people talking about PC vs Mac when the video is about British WW2 aircraft with British fossil fuel burning engines? You arm chair commandos need to get off your ass and go listen to one of these engines in person.

  • Well someone obviously knows nothing about computers....it's ok, there are plenty more like you. PC fanboys I mean. You can all go play your games on buggy machines while the rest of us Mac users, who actually know a thing or two about computers, wonder why you don't switch over to the nice, smooth, technically sound and virus-free OSX......Mac FTW

  • @RailsandRadials Ok, have fun playing... well I cant really finish that sentance BECAUSE YOU CANT PLAY ANYTHING

  • The mac is virus free because most people use PC's. if everyone would switch over to a mac guess where the new viruses will then be build for? so.. be happy there are more PC fanboys then mac'ers. besides that a mac in my eyes is a overpriced peace of ornament that only comes in his right when doing a lot of Graphics or video editing.

  • what i wouldnt give just to have a fly in a mosquito or a spit truly epic planes with a truly epic sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yep they were to good to be used in war.If I was a millionareand had my pick it would be a toss up between the mosquito and the lighting..

  • one of the sweetest sounds ever!

  • wow!

  • Wonder airplane. Nice vídeo.

  • Oh! Yeah! Fantastic!

  • the sound of the Mosquito :O

  • Great, just great!

  • that looks like it would bring the hurt easily.

  • @hannigan06 hahahahah absolutelly!!

  • NAV light too bright, Otherwise......INCREDIBLE!! BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!

  • That's hard to believe it's fake cos the graphics are this good. Is this a hd ps3 game?

  • Ive tried looking in to it, and I cant find out where its form. Maybe its just a clip? I would love to see some more animated like this!

  • @JBartlett09 No it's not.

  • Wow.. even though all made by computer, it is still beautiful. Sounds awesome too! The first part looks the most real, at the last part of the Mosquito landing you can see that it's pc-made, but still: VERY NICE!

  • wow, looks so real!

  • ,,thats because it is, you poor kids today are so braindead by your computers, games & cell phones its sad.

  • @PupuTheClown its not real brush up on your history

  • ,,your right, when you step outside your home and walk downtown, its all computer generated, just like your life is being played out like a movie inside some living being's conscience.

  • @PupuTheClown your the make believe clown.

  • Is it from a game, or what?

  • looked amazingly real. I noticed a shadow cast by the first plane that banks left in the second scene that told me it's done by computer. I admit I was fooled the first time I saw it

  • I have to admit that I did belive this where true pictures. The 1st thing that hit me, where how close and low they where flying.

The 2nd was the "shadow" of the propeller. All the aircraft had the excact same propelle "shadow". As it is, it is manual and it will be imposible for 6 aircrafts to have the excact same tourk and rpm.

the 3rd where the light on the tail at the end.

But don't take me wrong. It was masterly made. I where really impressed :D

    5/5

  • I seriously got confused about if it´s real or CG... what really said it was CG for me was that plane's taillight on the last scene. Other than that it was perfect.

  • Ya think its computer generated???? Wow thats VERY close to real. Powerful programs now days.

  • I am intrigued to know when this was filmed?

  • Makes me proud to be British, even though we no longer have much to be proud about these days.

  • One day, you will regain that. Be strong.

  • balls of steel man dident flench

  • AH F$#K YEAH!!

  • gorgeous...makes me feel sooo glad im not deaf :] Spits and Mosquitoes were awesome! thanx 4 the vid***

  • as amarfazbem said... Is it for a film?! He/She AND I must know lol.

  • definatley compter generated.... doesn't amazing grafics. but you can always tell.. the landings not right

  • awesome video, loved the sound of those engine on the fly by. : )

  • I reckon its CG, you cant get this many airworthy Spitfires and Mosquitos in one place at one time!

  • ya think?

  • no, not really!

  • nice cg, looks pretty convincing

  • Anybody know if this clip belongs to any film?

I'd like to have the name of it (please)!

  • memories

  • at 7 secs or so you see the shadow on the plane veering left ,if its cg its good

  • wow i really didn't believe this was CGI but once i thought about it u guys r right. there aren't any mosquitoes flying anymore and not that many spitfires. awesome job who ever made this video!

  • Awsom

  • Actually what made me realize that it was CGI was the camera panning. You wouldn't be able to get a camera to pan around a flying plane like that in real life.

Also the number of planes in the video, there ain't that many left. And some of the other comments said there are no Mosquitos left flying today at all.

  • ...plus, the unnatural stability of the flying planes

  • WOW

    BEAUTYFULL!!

    lol

  • is this cgi, then? nicely done if so, even the puff of dust when the first wheel touches down. - it makes me happy -

  • yeah, CGI, but the Cgi in this is about as amzing as the aircraft!
