Really nice conflation . 'Rublev' is one of my all-time favourite pieces of film and you've done well by giving a flavour of it without revealing any of the key images. BG I must admit I had never come across but will be investigating further! Thank you.

i think the translation is incorrect but poetry does not translate, ever. good try too but literal translation does not work.  poetry, unlike many things, needs to be heard in its original context. the depth of this is beyond what we can translate or discuss
