Yul is a decent winner but he definately loses a lot of credit because he had a 'get out of jail free card' in his back pocket, which gave him a ticket to Day 39.

@MrBen51309 but terry had same thing the season before andd id not even make it to final. they could have voted off yul at the last council but chose not to. yul is smarter and todd and i would say better winner.

No because Terrys season (Exile Island) had the traditional Final 2 system. The last time the idol could be played was in the final 4, so he had no protection at that last elimation, and subsequently got voted off by Danielle.

In Yul's season (Cook Islands) the idol was once again good up to the final 4, but they changed the rules and FTC had 3 people, so it basically gave Yul a spot at Final Tribal Council.

I agree though that Yul is very smart and a very nice man.

@movieman104 they could have voted off yul they did not. would todd have beaten yul if he was on that that season instead of china? no way. i was more impressed with yuls game.

They didn't vote Yul off because they didn't realize that there was gonna be a final 3. Had they known, I'm almost certain they would have flushed the idol beforehand. Had there been a final 2, Ozzy would've probably won the last challenge and taken Becky to the end.

@MrBen51309 by the last tribal they knew it was a was a 3. yes if it was a 2 ozzy would have won. but if china was a 2 amanda would have proably taken courtney not todd. todd could never beat yul. if he was on the season yul was on he would have never made it to final or anything. he wouldhave been in other tribe not yuls strong foursome. so yul is much better than todd.
