  • Where were you flying to

  • We landed on runway 09R with a KLM 777-300ER from Amsterdam. It was a special flight, to pickup stranded people on Heathrow due to heavy snow!! Watch my video on my channel!!

  • what seat number are u in ? im flyin ba to sab diego in june on 777-200 ER!

  • I've really grown to like the 777. Nice and comfy. Great to watch.

Thanks for sharing the takeoff. Looks damn cold outside though...

  • dam ! listen to that thrustback at 1:27 , for an un-experienced flyer that would be scary

  • @calz1272 I heard it ... BTW what is thrustback ???

  • @astoniz after takeoff the pilot reduces the throttle to slow the plane's climbing rate and speed, in the 777 the engines are very loud and when that happens at 1:27 it sounds very dramatic almost as if the engines have turned off :]

  • @calz1272 thank u now I know :) ,,,, I really like Boeing 777-300ER

  • @astoniz yea its a great plane , I looked at this video because im flying to JFK in a BA 777 in july :]

  • @calz1272 wow ,, so you really excited ??? I'm here now in states a summer vacation .. I'm from philippines

  • @astoniz yea the U.S is a great place to go on holiday :] im looking forward, have a nice time on your summer vacation though

  • @calz1272 thanks men ,, I really love here in San Diego :)

  • @calz1272 I think it's not what's happening at 1:27, sounds like something else, not the engines being throttked back. Probably a fuel pump.

  • @istvanklein its actually the hydraulic pump !! not the engines or fuel pump

  • @calz1272 thats the hydraulic pump. not the engines

  • @astoniz I believe Thurstback is when the pilot pulls back the engine throttle, typically for noise abatement procedures when planes take off over certain residential areas but also used to control the planes rate of ascent. It can be quite alarming the first time...

  • It's raining in London?How strange...lol

  • beautiful video !

  • It must of been pretty turbulent in the first couple minutes of takeoff with the rain, wind, and clouds, but nothing the 777 can't handle

  • Amazing! thanks for posting!

  • G-VIIK was the VERY first 777 I ever flew on. It was only 3 days new to BA at the time I flew on it. It had the "new car smell to it!" It was an awesome ride. London to DFW. This was in March of 1998 so almost 11 years ago!

  • The GE90 is my all time fav aircraft engine.

  • super sexy!!

  • great video and video noise!!!
