I don't see why every1 cries about marauders even though this vid clearly shows how to beat it. It's pretty easy to hold the ramp as Protoss so when u get collosi or zealot legs they're just screwed. Also when they fail their attack you can just expand.

Why do commentators get so excited over the damn probe attacking SCV's / drones, it's nonsense. Even if they kill a SCV, it's not a big deal, virtually no impact on the game.

And Morrow never acquitted himself very well in this series. He's a good player but this was amateurish. If you can;t defend your ramp as a Terran, you need to rethink your strategy.

i hate that beginning: terran forcing PROTOSS to stay in the base since they are the advanced race with plasma shields, knowledge about the time and space and they are forced to stay in the base in the beginning because of some guys with guns ¬¬

@bubba18sar the toss player won and yet its kinda obvious to see why people still troll terran (im a zerg player btw so at times I do troll terran) but marauders are too good, the reaper nerf in the patch i think should have been aimed at marauders. Yeah mass reaper was possibly the worst thing for any zerg but even after the patch marauders are too good, I wouldn't say they need a nerf but they do tear people apart and so terran will get trolled by ragers

@John121192 yes marauders are good.. but what other tier 1 units do we have to fight against Roaches, Stalkers, Zealots? Terran players use what they have. A Maruader has to have stem, and concussive shells to even compete with a tier 1 protoss army. Without those things a Maruader is damn near useless. They are slow, and have a low DPS. The point is.. people are going to troll Terran no matter what.

@bubba18sar What you say is true but I feel that if the upgrades for the marauder took a little longer to get or they were placed on different structures then the game would be more balanced.

Protoss needs Zealot legs, Tier 3 High Templars, an assortment of some Stalkers for ranged damage, a couple Immortals, someteims also Sentries, to beat Marauders. Why are you complaining about a 50/50 upgrade that researches in no time and makes Marauders 5x better, and then the Stim which makes them 10x better? Protoss needs Tier 3 and superior micro to compete just with MMM, nvm Ghosts and Vikings to easily counter Protoss Tier 3. Point is: game needs fixing.

@bubba18sar They are good, no denying but saying taht they need shells and stim to beat gateway units doesn't seem all that true... they have the same range as a stalker and deal more damage vs armored, which stalkers are. They move slower by like .7 or something, that isn't a big enough difference for the marauders to need stim and shells just to beat them. Without some higher tech unit for the toss side MM would beat gateway units (unless the terran is horrible at the game)

yes, because this one game shows the whole balance of sc2? plz explain why a protoss has to tech all the way up to tier 3, while laying down a sequence of force feilds at his ramp, just to hold off a nooby tier 1 muararder push. do you think that's balanced and takes equal skill from both sides? it's just so odd that 99% of the moans you get from sc2 players are about terran being OP. must just be a coincidence....
