You can get one with a hand pump, I have seen my grandpa do this without gaging or chocking and he's 70, then again he did it all the time growing up.

He blows to build up pressure in the tank in order to force gas up through the hose and out the tank... inhaling is deadly no matter how many times you did it as a kid, you body doesn't become immune to carcinogens/fumes
Its funny because he inhaled cancer causing fumes and probably knocked off a few years of his life with that many attempts
He is an idiot and thinks he can suck gas up from a tank like u'd suck on a drink's straw

Newer cars (like yours) have filter to prevent people from stealing your gas and to stop it leaking out in the event of a crash.
