Why does nobody even jump UP? Seems like people just sling themselves backwards and expect it to work. You actually need height. With a good standing backflip your feet should land exactly where they started from.

Oh damn... Those look like it hurt... He almost had it on the last one. If he had just put his hands down, then he would've made it. on the first one, he didn't look back all the way, which is a major part of doing the back flip. Same with the second one. He's also not bending far enough to give him more momentum.
