Been playing doom for years played em all multiple times, even got the stupid xbox verions and got all achievments for both of em, but I've never heard these older versions. They are fuckin amazing, they have alot of atmosphere to em.

@Xchaos5673X You can hear them today by getting the game from Steam (or elsewhere in digital form) and playing either with DOSBox or a source port like ZDoom or Skulltag using the "OPL Synth" music settings.

Yes, they do. At least I've gotten it to work. Maybe because I have an old SoundBlaster card in this computer, not sure.

If you think that's great, the ZDoom source port allows OPL Synthesis emulation... So it will sound like you're still running a Soundblaster card.
