@SoCalTactical ok pause it at 0:02 you can see the two halves are not lined up perfectly there is a shiny spot where the two halves are connected. oh and if you go to the 0:08 mark and hold space(will simulate slow motion) you can see the pencil half just falls off almost a full half second after it hit. If it was real the energy would have been transfered into the pencil and the top would not just fall with such little force. Yes cards can cut but this is no more than an illusion.

this is a simple trick, the pencil was cut in half, and re-attached with very weak glue, so the card hit the pencil and knocked off the top half.
