you said that this method is more clever than using a regular eq, but is it really more effective? not trying to be a smartass, i just dont understand the advantage of this method. why not just use some regular eqing to pull out the unwanted frequencies and then turn the bass up in the mix? seems like the end result should be the same?
@WillHerndon Hi Will, What makes this technique smarter is the fact that using a dynamic EQ will only cut or boost frequencies when they actually occur - similar to de essing a vocal. Does this help you?
