U can apply for a Canadian PR. It costs a fortune and it takes about 2 years for the application to process. US greencard on the other hand, is quite difficult to get. It costs roughly the same but for the greencard there's a pre-selection process. In other words, it's a lottery thing and you might end up waiting an entire lifetime in order to be pre-selected. Alternatively, marry someone from there!
