  • LOL RONALD REAGAN LEFT US WITH A SHITLOAD OF DEBT, WHAT A FUKIN DUMBASS

  • My only upset was that Reagan didn't declare himself eternal president.

Imagine the GDP growth every year and all the good times he would provide whenever he popped up on the TV screen.

  • @michaelmp5 WE KNOW YOU REPUBLICAN CONS LOVE DICTATORS AND POWER, BUT YOU GOTTA REMEMBER THERE OTHER AMERICANS WHO HAVE DIFFERENT BELIEFS AND OPINIONS

  • Reagan was a mouthpiece to appease the religious wrong & neoCONs. & as far as a balanced budget, yeah...dream on. As long as there is debt, there will never be a balanced budget. & WHY will there always be debt in our current system? Because money IS debt. & more money is created to pay the refinancing & interest. Thus, inflation. If all debts were paid up, there'd be no money in circulation. The world's bankrupt, but as Bernanke (who lives on Fantasy Island) says, the dollar is still good.....

  • The only good thing about this old creep is that he is dead. George Bush was president not Ronnie. Idiots. When you say we need another reagan. What you are saying is, we need another fool in office to use as a front while the real power steals our country blind and sells out our childrens future He did not bring down the wall that is a lie.All he did was just say no. Hows that working out for you ?.

  • @lastpatriot4America We did. G W was the biggest fool and Cheney the creepy hands behind the power.

  • 20 million new jobs! Enough said....with a non-majority Congress! AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • @kahteeah13 Reagan had nothing to do with that. Please he was an idiot. dont make him out to be anything but an idiot. Him and his whore from hollywood.

  • @lastpatriot4America Even with mistakes he made; Iran-Contra, Social Security, and whatever else your mind can conjure; Reagan still left office with an approval rating of 63%. Obviously he did something the people liked.

  • @kahteeah13 Yes your right he did. He fooled the entire country. Bush ran the show. You know thats true. Reagan was a good patsy cause he could act. If you were on trial for anything, and you sat there and said. I dont remember and I cant recall. The judge would lock you up until you remember. He opened the border. I dont guess you remember the death squads in Costa rica ? 63% approval? Did the news tell you that. Or did you actually see the numbers yourself? They are all snakes.

  • @lastpatriot4America Fooling the public or not, he wasn't the only president to do that. Look at Obama right now? Look at Bush, Carter, Clinton, Nixon, practically every president in the 20th and 21st centuries has fooled the public on something. He is not the only bad guy. Remember that, I'm sure we're all waiting for the day that we have a president who can tell the truth.

  • @kahteeah13 Under one term Carter created 10.3 million jobs. And 16.1 million jobs created during Reagan's admin. 2.6 million during G H Bush. 22.7 million under Clinton. 1.1 million jobs created under GW. And 1.8 as of May 2011 under Obama. Track record shows, democratic policies seem more effective. But you know they're just numbers and facts. I personally think job creation has shrunk primarily due to trade deficits. Our trade agreements are stupid and need fixing.

  • Carter's economy was doomed from the price of the Viet Nam war and the oil embargo. Carter appointed Paul Volker to the Fed and his policies are what lowered inflation and turned the economy around. Reagan was lucky to be Pres. with the boom of the computer and cheap oil. He never balanced a budget and tripled the debt. His tax cuts were only for the rich. The worker saw a rise in payroll taxes. His deregulation led to the SL crisis, Iran/Contra was a disaster and he cut and ran.

  • there's not a single rational economist in this country that has been consistently right in the past, present, future (like Peter Shift) who would agree with your ignorant statement....next

  • Paul Volker fixed the economy. Reagan couldn't balance a checkbook.

  • I'm 36 and my father,a hard workin steel worker, would give you a thumbs down also if he were alive.Trickle down economics(reaganomics)was writin to ensure that after Reagan f-ed it for the REAL WORKING MEN of AMERICA, all the non workin rich got to keep their HARD SAVED money while the poor jobless (thank foriegn steel) went even poorer waitin for OUR drizzle.PLEASE,re-elected cause of it, thats like sayin we LOVED our RECONOMY so much we gave GW 4 more! HANGING-CHADS.1GW+8 yrs= TRILLIONS owed

  • PS..RECONOMICS was supposed to say REPONOMICS...cause they REPOSSED our goods cause of the ECONOMY...REPONOMICS.

  • Do you actually think it's at all possible to become wealthy without working? Jeez.

We know from official economic statistics that the seven year period from 1982 to 1989 was the greatest, consistent burst of economic activity ever seen in the U.S. In fact, it was the greatest economic expansion the world has ever seen - in any country, at any time. In 1984 Reagan's 525 electoral votes (out of 538) is the highest total ever received by a presidential candidate.

    He was a GREAT President.

  • Apparently you weren't alive in the 80's. 1982 had the highest unemployment on record. Running up debt and calling it expansion is economic foolishness. Iran Contra will tarnish Reagan's legacy. It was one of the most corrupt episodes in our history. He armed terrorists and lied about it.

  • You are a liar. I can't call it anything else. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that the highest rate of unemployment during the Reagan years was 9.5% in 1982 and 1983. By 1983 when all the major tax reductions were passed, the economy started growing at a fast rate. At the end of Reagan's presidency, unemployment was at 5.2%. The "Highest Unemployment rate on record" award goes to FDR - Unemployment was estimated to be as high as 30% during his presidency. Are you paid liar or just ignorant?

  • Unemployment peaked at over 10% under Reagan. Unemployment was higher at the fall of the Roman Empire, but in modern times, since the 50's, Reagan holds the record. Why are you so in love with a politician? Especially one that cut and ran and did business with terrorists.

  • Here's my favorite quote about Reagan from Margaret Thatcher, "poor dear, there's nothing between his ears."

He couldn't remember the names of his own cabinet.

He told stories of how he personally liberated the concentration camps during WWII.He played a part in a movie and told it as reality

He was the Teflon President because the press gave him a free pass on all his lies. Iran/Contra was one of the dirtiest most corrupt episodes in govt. His most lasting impact will be the debt he left us.

  • jj35744 you are a liar, pure and simple, and you are attacking this man, and it's just disgusting. Peter Jenkins made up the Thatcher quote, and you made up the rest. You see what you did there? You could not ignore the FACTS I presented you with, so you resorted to personally insulting the man with ad hominem attacks. Saul Alinsky would be proud.

Reagan presided over the biggest economic boom the U.S. economy has ever seen. A fact, pure and simple.

  • Volker(Carter's guy) fixed the economy. Reagan was lucky to be in office during the boom of the computer. Borrowing from a credit card any saying your income increased is economic foolishness. That's what he did. He had Alzeimer's and it effected his decision making. Pres. have little control over the economy. He did have control over the debt and Iran Contra. That is what he will be remembered for. Of course he deserves respect, like all Presidents, but he had his awful moment too.

  • @PoliticallyRight It didn't create as many net jobs as Clinton era. Someone else isn't looking up the facts. And to the point, Reagan boomed due to Computers and credit card introduction. Clinton's era boomed because of internet introduction. And it will continue to shrink in new jobs created if we keep NAFTA and other bogus trade. Free trade is one thing. But stupid trade that destroys the very demand that keeps economies strong is stupid. They're all self serving jack asses.

  • @jmitterii2 Are you paying attention to what is happening in the video Clinton's internet boom would not have happened as easily if not for the reductions in regulations and the policies that started under Reagan that allowed for the creation of businesses to be easier and less burdened by regulation. Watch the video again and he said a balanced budget by 1993 with his policies and then think of what happened about that time.

  • By the way, that reminds me - how to you think Barack Obama's numbers will look? LOL please, he has a bunch of morons in congress that are going to ruin his Presidency. Pelosi and all the rest have been in power since 2006, and have done a fine job of tanking the economy from the years before that.

I'm just going to ask you to please do this - research before you spout off at the mouth. You look foolish when you lie. The truth will set you free.

  • Obama is a politician. I don't trust anything he says. By the end of his term, he, like Reagan and Clinton, will ride an oversold market. Presidents are given to much credit for economy, good or bad.

  • You really need to open your eyes. Comparing GW Bush to Reagan is pure idiocy. You really need to at least research the Reagan years before you talk about them, because what you've said here is complete bullshit. Don't go making up some alternate universe where Reagan did things he didn't actually do or where GW Bush is a Reagan conservative. GW Bush got reelected because he did a pretty good job in his first term, and because that moron John Kerry was his opponent. Dems could have beaten him...

  • Hey PR, what do you think of Reagan drastically cutting funding to Veterans mental health resulting in many of our mentally ill veterans being kicked out onto the streets?

  • also the National debt when Washington was in office was three chickens, two pigs and a goat and while that is quite a haul in those days, I think lumping Washington in there gives your retarded theory a little bit of an advantage. Don't you think?

  • Washington, Carter and Clinton were in office for 208 years? Perhaps you need to brush up on your mathematics before making comments about the economy.

  • I think he meant from the time of Washington to Carter plus Clinton equals less debt than Reagan and Bush.

  • REAGAN WAS A SOCIALIST!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He's addressing schoolchildren! Indoctrination!

  • Second worst President in the history of America next ot George W Bush.

  • FDR was not a great president.

  • stupid president

  • retarded president

  • reagan had a budget surplus all four years. (if you take away defense spending!) not one penny for healthcare but trillions for defense.

  • The defense in sociology means the delusion of otherness

  • too bad the only guy who saw that dream of budget surpluses was Bill Clinton

  • too bad he he stole social security money from people to give the illusion of a surplus.

  • THANK YOU. fucking idiot republicans are just jumping at any chance they can get to attack.

  • Republicans are fucking lying idiots....i can prove it because evrytime i turn on fox news they say some lie they make up to push their agenda then I go reaserch the truth and its always the opposite of what the Republicans say

and to think I was raised by 2 racist republicans from Oklahoma.........hahah fuck them and fuck the shit stain that is the racist republican party.

  • jajjajajajajaja great point i love whe people that are racist look super stupid ... they want to go after obama but look at this.

  • He can balance this!

  • LOL Ronald Reagan absolutely DESTROYED the budget! Huge deficit spending on Star Wars and other bullshit plus tax breaks for the rich. THIS IS A FUCKING JOKE!!!

  • WOW! John Daly looked so young back then.

  • LOL It did look like John Daly sitting in the crowd!!

  • wow a president who's tring to help america ,,instead of tring to purposely bring it down with radical agendas and socialism.

  • Ironically, if he did pass that amendment requiring the budget to be balanced at the end of every year, there would be no war on terror.

  • At least he sticks to non-partisan topics such as religion, current efforts to amend the constitution, and reaganomics.

Not like that Obama character, who wants to indoctrinate children with his own liberal agenda.

  • Judging by the 4 thumbs downs you got, I'm guessing not everyone got your sarcasm sense of humor...lol.

  • Great clip - too bad he didn't deliver on ONE campaign promise he made.

There must have been some tricky accouting there - the deficit did nothing but climb in his office, and he quadrupled the debt in his terms.

  • @tacomadc hahaha are you kidding?? the economy was kicking ass after he took office.. in 83 there was a recession, but it was short, and reagan stimulated the economy, you must work for a union or something hahaha..
