  • FAB-U-LOUS!!! Thank You so much! You look great and I hate you.Your videos forced me to try to register just so I could Thank You and that attempt was a hot mess. But suddenly I seem to be on.Girlfriend if I ever win the Mega Powerball you have a job offer! I've heard that "practice makes perfect" (which explains why I look like a clown shat on my face). So I was wondering how long have you been "beatin-back"and how long do give yourself to get BEAU-tiful!?

  • LOL... Thank you for battling the YouTube gods in order to be apart of my fabulous world... LOL... to semi answer your questions: My first drag show was September of 2000 and surprisingly my brother taught me everything I know about make-up (a drag queen himself)... when I do my make-up, without an audience, I generally give myself about an hour and a half. :) I love make-up and anytime anybody wants me to do their face it is ON!

  • I absolutely love drag queen makeup, and I would wear it out, but I don't think natural women could ever pull this off.

    D:

  • you look better than me in the end with your make up and I am a woman...

  • I always wondered why drag queens faces look so smooth. I guess the UHU stuff works good on your eyebrows..

  • DAMN! You are one fierce, sexy woman!!! Thank you for the video!

  • kisses

    from greece jaki

    you are souper!!!!

  • Wow jaky! thats looks so good.. I have a trans-Sister she does perform every now and then., Shes afraid of using too much make up I have to tell her about your tutorial u can see her if you type "transsexual en Don Comalon"

  • This is exactly how I learned to apply my make up the first time. I'm glad I can use this video as a refresher! Thanks!

  • You are just too beautiful! Jaky, you are so amazing, keep up what you're doing!

  • wow great video

  • Could you explain how you 'removed' your eyebrows with makeup? I do costuming and one of my costume requires not having eyebrows, but I am having difficulty in doing so through means of makeup. Any suggestions/tutorial would be loved, thank you!

  • Thanks you, I'm glad I peaked your interest... I am one of the lucky few devotees to the craft who shave off my eyebrows (awkward silence) lol... luck for you I have loads of experience in blocking out eyebrows for theatre.

As this is one of the top requests sent to me I am currently attempting to grow out the brows in order to post a blocking video... and in the mean time I will send you an email with instructions.

  • First off, I want to say thank you for doing this video. I have a question though. I personally am not a performer, and don't do drag very often, occasionally for Halloween. Do you have any tips for someone like myself who isn't going to be washed out by lights? I would appreciate any input you can give.

  • Most of the techniques shown are basic shaping fundamentals, as long as you retain the concealer/foundation and contour processes, the rest is basically using lighter shadows on lid, darker in crease (your choice of color) to lift the brow. Highlighting cheekbones and lining lips. You may feel you are wearing too much make-up but the key is shaping, using the products correctly and blending.. let me know if you need more (not alot of space in comments)

  • Thank you very much for the help, I greatly appreciate it, and will definitely keep you in mind the next time I do drag.

  • Thank you for this video.. I've tried to do it on my boy but needed some guidence! Perfect!!

    M x

  • JAKY....I LOVE YOU!!! I think your awesome, baby, you look like one of my cousins as a guy and a girl...LOL...

  • you are soooo pretty

  • AWESOME!!!!! I wanna take a Drag make up class! Got any tips on how to keep the make-up on with out it rubbing all over ur clothes?

  • Sadly, there is no guaranteed way to stop transferring of heavier make-up! the best thing you can do is be sure to use quality products (this does not mean expensive) and set your foundation properly with a translucent or pressed powder.

  • ....i love you

  • That was great. Really intresting and informative. You look so pretty

  • just wanted to say i loooooooooove the make up...good job

  • ooooh... I'm loving this video =) Well done Babes =) =) =) r u available on facebook or myspace?

    Shiva Queen

  • By far the Best Drag makeup tutorial on YouTube!! So many of these queens get done and it's like they juuust missed the mark. You are spot on baby; and kudos to you for demonstrating the proper hairline. How simple: pull your own hair over the front and set in with hairspray. Sooo many of these posers just slap on a flipped wig and GO!... and you can TOTALLY tell that it's fake hair. The whole point is illusion, right? Make 'em believe. You go girl. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!

  • OMG Thank You..

When I started doing Drag semi professionally (almost a decade ago) I found it difficult to get proper help to succeed. Many seasoned performers see new talents as COMPETITION (oh no :S) and want to see you fail... I was lucky to find people willing to train me and now my main goal is to educate and pass on the tricks of my success!

(my Drag Blog is free education)>>

  • Jackie, do you have a myspace page? I'd love to have you as one of my friends. John.

  • omg!!! ure gorgeous..a true artist..thanks for the tips!!!!!!

  • this vid helped me out alot...thanks x

  • i couldn't tell if it was a guy or girl to start with...

  • I can see what you mean because I do not have eyebrows but I assure you I am defiantly a MAN!

  • You look stunning when you're finished!

    Amazing.

  • drag queens look more like woman than run of themill crossdressers, cant use covergirl to coverboy

  • ahahaha

    soooo true

Covergirl DOES not cover Facial hair when it comes to guys, unless they have blonde facial hair.

  • Doesn't cover up female facial hair either....just sayin. :)

  • what works best after you have applied the panstick is coty powder,i swear by it

  • THANK YOU!!! Im straight (female) and have always wanted to wear my makeup in a "dramatic" fashion. I have BAD skin from chickenpox and nothing seemed to work. This does!! But blending is hard for me and also i would like to know what are the brands of makeup i should purchase because Revlon is not cutting it!

  • For full coverage you need to use a cream foundation concealer, I use Max Factor's Pan Stick, but any Pancake make-up will deliver the same results. Remember it isn't how you use the concealer but what you are setting the make-up with that will make it look heavy. Try MAC studio FX, stay away from anything talc based. Visits you local MAC, Make-Up Forever, NARS or even Saphora counters, and ask for help with your issue, as a make-up artist challenges are what we live for.

  • just lovely..

  • love you makeup jobs wow girl

  • Wow a real artist! drag queens rulez!!

  • so listen im a girl and im straight but i have a question and if it affends any gays and drags i am truely sorry. but ive always wondered. i know some gay men wear regular guy clothes.

drags r different. they want to look like women, which is perfectly fine. but why do you guys overdo it? your pretty. but purple eyes(gorgeous)? i believe if you guys used natural colors you would look more like women. cause most women wear natural colors. you could fool anyone if you do that! continue being you!

  • good questions, however, drag is simply to over due it. If we wanted to go more natural we would be crossdressing, but as you can tell you never hear a gay man say he does crossdressing, rather he say's "I do drag" it's fun and for going out. I wouldn't dare go to the mall and shop in drag...only if it were a last minute thing to do before a show or going out for fun, but no...that causes a lot of attention and then kids start asking parents questions...and so on and so forth. so, that's why.

  • Thank you for your kind words

Your question is not new one, it can be very difficult to understand the difference between being a Drag Queen and Transgender individual... A drag queen is a performer (most do not want to be female) Transgender is a Woman who happens to be born male (in most cases these individuals have never identified as gay men)

This is my career, I only dress in drag for profit or charity events!

On my blog I teach the basic culture of Drag as a ART FORM check it out..

  • Wow, Thats all I can say.

I wish there were more talented people in this world like you . Queens add a touch of color to a drab drab world. More vids please.

  • Turned into a Queen who is gorgeous !!

  • Thank you for sharing. I am now interested in wearing makeup and I know that drag queens do it best. I am a part of your following LOL!

  • That was AMAZING!! Great job!!

  • Wow, you're very skilled with your make up. It's beautiful!!

  • raven haired goddess.

    love the purple

  • I love the technichs that you use for applying your makeup, but do you think that maybe you can slow down on your next video, for those of us (me) that are beginners...Thanks!

  • Lol.. yeah sorry, if you notice I do talk all the way through the video... this is an instructional vid I just couldn't edit it properly.. there are new videos coming probably in a few weeks to a month...

thanks for the comments everyone and hang in there Jaky isn't done with you yet..

  • WOW i'm a girl and i can never get my eyes that pertty ^-^

I learned alot from you. Thank you

  • im sure i can teach you how to create the same look with less dramatics!!! you will look natural my with simply highlighting tricks and contours that blends in very well

  • Great lesson. I can use this in my video's. My friend does my makeup & hair mostlym he's very talented. Check out our videos. Search Deon Darvette or poster cb93206 .

  • Holy crap...when i first saw the video i thought you didn't need that much make-up 'cause you looked like a girl..then i kept watching and i felt you were putting on too much make-up. But the final product was absolutely amazing....you look GORGEOUS OMG. WOW

  • GREAT JOB JACKY!

  • woah you look gorgeous!!

  • Omfg girl you are beautiful i LOVE YOUR VIDEO I AM SO SUBCRIBING TO YOU

  • Your gay and your calling a transexual a fag?

A Fag is a cigarette, a bundle of sticks, and a brand of meatballs, not a word for gay people OR transexuals(who are completely different from gay men)

Maybe you should do some research on the term "TRANSEXUAL"

It has nothing to do with Homosexuality

and I also hate how your probably one of those Gay Guys that demands everyone understand you and your differences, but is not willing to accept other's differences...

    your such a hypocrite...

  • oh dont mind him dear - he sent me a personal msg saying that drag queens pull down the gay community (I'm a queen)

clearly hes just a weak individual who can't deal with his own insecurities and so he tries to blame us.

to even out his negative energy let me say - your amazing and I love your videos <3

    ~ Matty

  • I see your pain and i can only imagine how you must feel. It is always a struggle to find the right balance between self and identity, you are not a bad person I can tell that, I think you may be connecting too personal a connection to these strange ideas that your local community is some how justifying.

your pain saddens me and i hope you realize that these things that have happened to you are not community wide and we are all working with you to broaden the worlds understanding of identity.

  • LOVE IT! you look amazing!!!

    Thank you so much!!

  • beautiful

  • cuz you make str8ts hate us if a gay man does not act like a qweer in a dress the other fags hate him be a man gay is just who you are not being a wiero in a dress or a sissy picking flowers real gay masculin men suffer from your kind.

  • It's a Job you asshole

It's Gay Men Like YOU that give Gay Men a bad name

your being just like a straight man

    you being judgemental and hateful

There is nothing wrong with him Dressing in Drag

many Gay Mne do it for a living and make damn good money

    oh and btw!

I'm a Transexual( if you even know what that is)

Does that make you cringe too, asshole?

  • and thank you StevieNicksFan, i appreciate your intentions.

  • thank you pastorsucks,

**PLEASE NO ONE ATTACK THIS MAN FOR HAVING AN OPINION...**

words function as a reminder to those who may not understand aspects of the world we live in but choose to have an opinion of them all the same. Like myself it is people like you, who are not afraid of their own opinion, that really allow us all the right to freedom of thought and expression so thank you again for the comment, discussion is important to allow growth.

    Love always Jaky

  • your so weak, if straight people can't understand that there are different sub cultures of the gay comunity it is not the gay persons fault.

  • this gives a gay men a bad name

  • How?

I really would love to know how my career gives all gay men a bad name... it's like saying that people who do the musical CATS give actors a bad name.

    :) :) :) PLEASE LEAVE ME A VIDEO RESPONSE WITH YOUR THOUGHTS! :) :) :)
