Common Misconception: Parkour and Free Running are 2 differen things.

Parkour- get from point A to point B as fast as you can with given tricks.

Free Running- Go where ever you want, but do flashy moves such as flips, flag poles, etc.

I'd say the majority of MTV's "Parkour Challenge" is actually a Free Running challenge

parkour being efficient movements, freerunning beihng creative movements,

ya see, freerunning doesnt have a destination. so we've combined creativity with a start and finish point... if it was all just parkour and efficiency, you would get bored watchin it with no flips :)

Stupid Stupid Stupid. Why are they making Parkour into a Competition? Now instead of Parkouring for the enjoyment, the challenge, and the rush. It's going to turn into another football or basketball. Where everyone's goal is to go pro, famous, and to make money. This needs to stay a uncompetive sport where your only rival is yourself.
