Leehom did says the song was written for his best friend about how his friend was hopeful, elated, accumulating his everything right up to this proposal on new year's eve only to be left shattered and heart broken because his friend's girlfriend will not accept his proposal. .....thus the "lost of everything" ... and the capsized boat... and the dismiss of the girl... a metaphor of lost love but remembrance of everything !

I think this MV is a metaphor of love. MV starts with love@zero then progress to love@100% and back to love@zero. MV begins with a capsized boat=zero.nothing ...then followed his recollection of everything building up to love@100% (celebration, fireworks, happiness) and back to zero with the capsized boat....where everything is lost.

the sudden death of the girl symbolises leehom's friend's passing, when leehom did not expect it, as they shared a special relationship together, which leehom thought would be powerful enough to go through rough times with. so in the lyrics he keeps asking for a reason.

i think it's a pretty clever and subtle mv, and it's nice to remember his friend in that affectionnate way :)

hmm, a couple reactions:

-uh, I don't quite get where they're trying to go with the disappearing act

-not that this is a bad thing, but Leehom actually looks older, more like his age. it makes him more real, in a sense

-he's still really hot, and any woman would be incredibly fortunate to have someone like him in her life

I love this song! The MV kind of reminds me of the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. Both Orpheus and Leehom are very good musicians. The lake in the MV may represent the River Styx which forms the boundary between the Earth and the Underworld. In the mythology, Orpheus tries to save his wife Eurydice from the Underworld, like what Leehom does in the MV. I know this may sound very far-fetched though....
