It always drives me crazy trying to figure out how they would come up with a damage formula for a place like this. Maybe your attack is set at a certain number minus the attack power of what you have equipped, but that can't be it because Eiko still deals less than the others in a melee attack. So it's like your damage is the same as before, but just blarghlargh! I guess there are enough other factors to keep it somewhat the same. Being a math junkie and having OCD does not bode well.

The team you have is actually a quite a good team I like to use too. Rei's Wind is VERY useful, that's for sure.

Maybe they just have the weapons set to the same amount of damage of the weapons that you should have at this point in the game?

Oh i never noticed that the weaker weapons do more in Ipsen's Castle, i always just went throught it not changing anything.

I remember my first playthrough of this game I was using Amarant and I was like o_o... but you're in my main party Amarant! Nooooooooo.
