man its a clean bike, only a couple things i'd do differently, pivotal seat cuz those new fit seats blow and look like shit, and get some 48 spline cranks, but other than that clean bike man, not hating just throwing in my 2 cents lol

with your axle slipping, did you maybe forget to put in the little textured washers that keeps it gripping? cause just nuts on the dropout will usually slip
