if you cant hit the beat then you're not dancing to the music. then you might as well ust do whatever and forget about the beat.... obviously not. being able to dance to the lyrics comes from knowing the song well enough to anticipate whats coming. real dancers can go to any new music they hear. then you can only really go by the beat for it to look clean
