@ShowXjumper11 Horse does not take well to any forceful actions. I've had her 5 years i know well :) she's had professionals on her too. If you saw the size of the spurs in her sides around this course you would see she's getting encouragement ha! And if you watch me ride her, much worse you'll see i do encourage messily and have no such luck too. She really does hate jumping, i've tried everything. From getting nasty, to being extremely nice, she is a horse i have yet to crack!
@ShowXjumper11 Oh and i'm not offended don't worry, judge away... just i have literally tried everything with this horse, and the rider on her in this is an extremely talented rider and knows what she is doing, more than me!!!
XD Oh, we've all ridden those horses. It seems I'm put on them waaay too much for lessons (I don't own my own horse, so I use the barn's horses). DX Everything else was perfect, except for, well, you know. ^_^ I guess the only thing that can help this is what you've already commented.
P.s.: Commentary? Hilarious! XD "That little bastard!" on the last jump was just brilliant! XDD
Grrr ino myself how annoying this problem is...but well done for trying :) Shes so sweet looking aswell!! At least you got her over that 1st jump on the second attempt when my mare stops she will just continue to stop another couple or few times its shit!! Good luck for putting her into foal and everything, my mare will be going into foal too in a couple of years :) hehe xx
I've literally tried everything hahaha, the best thing i did with her was getting her out loads, doing TINY classes, and kicking from standstill, praising the good, ignoring the bad, i'm literally gonna hire places out, take her xc, and just have fun on her, let some people do showing and dressage on her for a bit of mixture, she'll be in foal in May if things go to plan so i can stop this bullshit! xx
argghhhh she is such a nightmare. what she like when you chase her in from a good distance out? i would try (if you havent already) maybe not being so quiet on approach.... flappy arms and legs or summit haha. she is a complete cow bag catrin. :( or dropping pole so she can be made to step over once she has stopped so she doesnt get to turn around or something?! arghhh its really strange...must be so frusrating for u :( xxx
