@snowsled653 Acutally it was Arctic cat that started this, and ski doo just copied them. Ski doos are great but not that great. FYI I am a polaris fan and thier pro chissis feels light years ahead of the xp. Skidoo copied actic cat, polaris copied ski doo, who knows maybe it Cat copied yamaha, either way ski doo is not the best sled, at this point they are all as good as each other in regards to capability.
@aknickmartin get your facts straight. Skidoo is sewing arctic cat for copying their chasie. And polaris may be a little bit lighter than the new etec, but it has less horse power. Im not downing any sled manufacturer. I like polaris. I like skidoo and i like yamaha. FYI the new pro rmk looks just like a skidoo rev. And if you knew anything you would know not to say that actic snack copied yamaha. Also the polaris copied the skidoo chassie too. Ive driven all three of the brandnew 2012 sleds.

I dont know about the power but I do know that the 800 rmk assault stays neck and neck with the 800 E tec. I dont care if the pro looks similar to the rev, it still looks better, and rides better. After riding the pro, I wasnt even able to carv on my friends XP. Lets all just ride and have fun.
@aknickmartin the arctic snack, polaris and the new skidoo. All the chassies pretty much felt the same. But the difference was that the skidoo has the best power to weight ratio.
@ridered300 Thats not true considering the doo E-tech is in the same ball park as far a fuel effeciency goes. The advantage of a four stroke is reliability especially when building big H.P. numbers. Big bore 2 strokes and lots of boost dont tend to be reliable. Dont get me wrong I am a big 2 stroke fan, I dont like spending $11,000 and then dumping another $5000+ into it because it doesnt have any balls. But accept it, four stroke is the future of snow machines.

@ridered300 no the 4 strokes are faster have more power and accaly take less, well a friend of mine takes about 1.2 per mile whit 1000 4 stroke(normal driving XD)

compare that to a 1200 turbo 2 stroke... it is slow. really the only advantage 4 strokes have over 2 strokes is fuel efficiency.
