Hey nice bike setup! Just wondering where you ordered your parts from? I am located in Ontario so I figure it shouldn't be too hard to get parts here even if its mail order.
Yes! check it out. Top speed 58-65k no win flat depending on rider weight. Max 170lbs tests, min tested 140lbs. At 140lbs It did up to 69k flat going with light winds.
Its a 5303 clyte hub at 48v.The bike has a full suspension and is an 06 norco chaos .Its been upgraded this summer to 72v and switched the rear rim from a 26'' to a 20 .More torque at the same speed .
I am really keen on getting the exact motor but I am worried that because it has electronic parts there might be a malfunction after a period of time. Have you had and malfunctions with the motor?
I blew the controller (gf watered hanging plant above bike) have another one coming. I live in the northern tundra (Brampton area ) too much snow this year. Other than that It is fantastic. Thinking about getting newer batteries, I crrently have 48 volt ni-cad, 406.
I read that people would ride bikes more if they had an electric motor that would "kick in" when they were going up hills. Even on a rode that seems flat, on a bike there are hills that you don't notice in a car.
boy that thing is quite stealth, nice kit!
