How do you get to be this good? It's got to be by having absolutely NO distractions in life and giving 110% to practice and rehearsal. Meaning NO chics, kids, family, friends, social life. Bobby doesn't seem miserable to me. He's simply a combination of a lot of natural talent and dedication to practice. If you don't have 'the gift' you could practice10 hours a day and you'd still never get there. There are players that can get to a level within 5 years that others will never reach in a lifetime.

I mean, look at Usain Bolt in track: The guy doesn't necessarily train harder than the competition but he is physically gifted to run the 100/200m that much faster than anyone else.

Bobby putting on 'Back In Black' and trying to be Phil Rudd would be as pointless as Phil Rudd trying to be Bobby Jarzombek and playing prog. Both are great at what they do. There is no need for Bobby to waste his awesome talents and 'get back to basics.' There are a million meat'n'potato drummers already.

Alright, think about it. If Mike Portnoy could hit his cymbals behind his head, or spin his sticks while he was doing it, or even play that fast, he would have done it by now. Portnoy, is, believe it or not, very egotistical with his drumming. I am one of his biggest fans; DT has been and always will be my favorite band, but Mr. Bobby Jarzombek is in a league of his own. This is almost fucking inhuman.

carmine appice has been doin those same twirls for decades the two cymbals at the rear that comes from johnathon moffat 80,s & recently john blackwell you are very good at doin there stuff give some credit too the dudes you ripp off in all your "gabbin"........people will like you alot more again you do it really well i would like to see it incorporated into some single pedal grooves after awhile the 2bass groove goes way too long & loses the impact cheers well done though.
