I love the banter, it's a great phone and I love the speed messaging layout. The only problem I have with it, is, I'm a really fast texter, I send about 10,000 texts a month and when I text, I type very fast. There is no option for an apostrophe ( ' ), unless I manually put it in by going to the symbols option. There is a ` key, however, when I send texts with it, it shows up on others peoples phones as an @ sign. My friend has the same phone and has the same problem. 6/10

I have had the LG Banter for about a year and a half. It has been a great phone and still is. The only problem i have had with it is that if i'm texting it won't let me text over about 5 lines at a time, if i go over that amount of lines it starts inserting all different kinds of symbols instead of the letters that i want. Might just be my phone that has that problem though. I'm in the process of upgrading now, but don't have a clue what phone to switch to.

Great phone but the only thing that sucks is that it doesn't have video on it. Even tho I asked the guys at U.S. Cellular if it did and they lied to me because it does not have video, theres not even a section in the instruction booklet for video!

Rumor2 (the one on the right) is Sprint, and the Banter (left) is for Alltel. I have the Banter and it's wonderful. It looks really nice, a LOT better than the Scoop (Rumor) and the changeable faceplates are awesome. Go on ebay and you can get sooo many diff colors, and even mix and match them.

i got the lg banter like a week after it came out.. it is a great phone, but if you dont text a lot i wouldnt recoment it. that is probably the only plus other then it takes good pictures. it scratches real easy so if ur supperrrrr clumsy like me, that isnt good. ha. ohh... and u cant even take videos.. it is good for some people tho that just want to text and call i guess.

I am so pleased with my Lg Banter!

I had the Lg Scoop and it had so many problems, and even stopped working. (The screen went white and wouldn't work.)

I went to the Alltel store and traded it in for the Banter.

I've had the Banter for a few months and I have had NO problems with it.
