Hey, Chris...I'm a hairstylist and I've seen many causes of pattern baldness; men and women included. As I understand it, hormones are the only thing that can really cause the thinning of hair. That being said, a trans-guy friend of mine told me that his Dr changed the type of T he was on and shortly after, noticed his hair was beginning to thin pretty rapidly. So, he talked to his Dr about it, changed back to his previous T and hasn't had a problem since. Maybe that's something to consider. :)
You could always look into treatment options for the hair, I am planning on doing that soon also

if you're concerned about hair loss progressing, why not consider finasteride? many trans guys have had a lot of success with it

Nose hair is the one thing that I didn't even think about and it's the most annoying of all the hairs in my opinion.
