Yes, oil companies make a profit, but that is their business. The government is also gouging at least $ 0.50 per gallon in taxes at the pump and at least another $ 0.25 in other hidden taxes.
Now, if you ecofascist kooks would let the oil companies develop new resources, build new refineries and stop all the sabotage, the price would fall.
Demand in other markets, like China and India, also affects price.

If Obama is elected, maybe he can do for America, what he has done for Chicago!
He can bring his experience as a street organizer, and solve America's economic problems.
With his contacts with Chicago's underworld and terrorists, he can resolve the threats to America.
And he can turn over our tax dollars to churchs like Trinity Church, and solve world hunger!
He can use his international experience from his trip abroad to resolve world tensions.
It is going to be a wonderful world!

Obama said he joined forces with a republican to round up loose nuclear weapons.
