i served in British army and did 8 tours of duty in Northern Ireland, the IRA had the same tactics, they would hold the family hostage and force the man to drive the car into a checkpoint, the victim would be chained into the car, the car would be detonated by remote control, this type of attack was called `proxy bomber`, it was impossible to defend against.
I would like to know who did this and how they got away with it. Most likely they will not investigate into the kindnappings of people and forced to be suicide bombers. They may find out that the Iraq goverment or even US goverment had a hand in it.
