@thejsws: the board uses the rs232 25-pin d-sub serial connection. the original strand lighting screen has this serial connection. if you are using a pc (like in this video) you need a serial connector to your pc and the mxterm software (you can get it at thestrandarchive - google it) hope this helps
This thing is old? On my old school we have had an ADB S20 (Analog, TV-Out, ...) - THIS was old! :-D - but nostalgic! I loved that thing! Now is everything controlled by a Windows-computer :-(
I cannot remember the keystrokes exactly, but you build a look, there should be a record button hit it, then press the sub bump, it'll record what you have brought up to the bottom sub. You can also soft patch the console, which is awesome.
this board was in service for nearly 15 years. it was very reliable and was used for many shows. and its still working without any problems , nervertheless we replaced it with a modern lighting console
