You are also wrong. A reduced nutritional value would require that genes that code for "nutrition" - presumably vitamin content, etc - are modified. Those genes are not touched unless the precise reason for engineering the organism is to alter those proteins.

The video shows your bias towards GM foods as you make the cons nearly impossible to read (although I'm pleased you at least took the time to list them)- someone who knew nothing about GM food to begin with would not be able to decipher the text quickly enough to get the meaning.
All the negatives are serious implications, and although they have not been proven "beyond a doubt", please keep in mind that there is very little that HAS (been proven beyond a doubt). Canadians are hardly getting healthier; our children have more allergies than ever, as well as more behavioural problems. Monsanto puts a great deal of money into having us believe otherwise. Also, there is TONS of evidence that IPR's (which are mentioned in video) are putting farmers out of food and home.
Beliserius, as I noted in my own post, hardly anything (in all of history) has been proven (beyond a reasonable doubt). There have been studies done, one by a British scientist who was given a gag order, indicating mass negative effects on lab rats who were fed GM food. Farmers are losing their livelihood due to IPR's, and in Canada, our children already have WAY more allergies and behavioural problems than ever. Studies constantly show Canadians to be getting further and further out of health.
Also, there hasn't been any scientific base to prove it IS safe... toxicology takes roughly 30 years to show, and this has only been around since 1982. Monsanto pays (and threatens) our own government to lie and tell us this food is safe and there is no proof otherwise. Well, hate to break it to people, but there's MORE "proof" it's unsafe than there is for its safety. We do not have a shortage of food; it's simply not being distributed fairly. Thousands of GM plants won't change that.

Canadians are hardly getting healthier; our children have more allergies than ever, as well as more behavioural problems. Monsanto puts a great deal of money into having us believe otherwise. Also, there is TONS of evidence that IPR's (which are mentioned in video) are putting farmers out of food and home.

All the Negatives are Supposed Negatives that has no evidence that shows, and are simply folk lores with no scientific base in it.
I live in Canada, and Genetically modified foods are widely used and ingested. If anything, We Canadians are getting healthier.

Beliserius, as I noted in my own post, hardly anything (in all of history) has been proven (beyond a reasonable doubt). There have been studies done, one by a British scientist who was given a gag order, indicating mass negative effects on lab rats who were fed GM food. Farmers are losing their livelihood due to IPR's, and in Canada, our children already have WAY more allergies and behavioural problems than ever. Studies constantly show Canadians to be getting further and further out of health.

Also, there hasn't been any scientific base to prove it IS safe... toxicology takes roughly 30 years to show, and this has only been around since 1982. Monsanto pays (and threatens) our own government to lie and tell us this food is safe and there is no proof otherwise. Well, hate to break it to people, but there's MORE "proof" it's unsafe than there is for its safety. We do not have a shortage of food; it's simply not being distributed fairly. Thousands of GM plants won't change that.
