Tha Javalin works both as a conventional rocket launcher, and by air.

the javelin round doesent have to go up in the air, it can just go straight if the operator wants, so its up to him!! and to those who think 1 rocket should kill a tank always,(like the jav) a rpg has never succesfully penatrated a abrams or stryker, i think it did on a bradley though, but again, it wont just, blow up magically, it still has to set off a round inside,no guarante...

wow... I don't think I've ever seen a game where the missile damage was actual realistic... Unlike in COD or BF:BC where it takes like 12 shots with a rocket launcher to kill a tank...

this is a javelin...the only other game ive seen with a javelin was COD4 and it was a 1hit-1kill weapon aswell so it was realistic in that fashion.

but i get your point and this game will surely kick ass!

@tigermax94: 3 Rockets actually to kill a standard tank and 2 for APCs, anyways thats more realistic considering an Abrams has DU armor and several others, plus reactive armor. That is how the real flashpoint worked. It took me one time on that 20 rockets to kill one abrams, maybe over exaggerated but those things can take alot.

Look at the distance he fires the Javelin at for a TOP shot. Almost as laughable as the running sound and camera at 1:00.

the distance it travels before heading down for a top hit depends on how far away the target is.... but you are right... at the range it is used in in this video... it would be questionable weather it would hit

But given the fact that it's a dark map, and the video quality might not do justice, you may not have been able to judge just how far that APC really was and how far the rocket was actually launched.
