  • one of Diru's best Ballads along with The Final and Higeki

  • ...никогда не зови тех, кто останется стоять у порога...

  • The ending....is the most beautiful ending to a song I've ever heard.

  • Dir en grey have the best ballads ever. EVER.

  • Damn his vocal range is fucking sick

  • 5 people are dummy's... who have no understanding of the beautiful music that Kyo produces from his god-like vocal chords...

I love how one of the song suggestions is Vanilla by Gackt. xD

  • 5 people has not understud the terms and conditions of tomarrow

  • 5 people slipped

  • I love how Dir en grey breaks down the language barrier in a way. At first, I listened to J-rock because it sounded nice. Then I listened to Dir and grey for the first time and then were streaming down my face. I didn't understand a single word and yet the words grabbed my heart. This song does just that.

And I love the bass in this song. Ack, gets me every time.

  • wish this song was longer

  • I love Dir En Grey, recently saw them in concert and they were AMAZING. Most of all Kyo who sang for awhile with NO mic at all, just belted it out <3 so amazing and such a powerful voice. Everyone in the place went totally silent when he sang like that and then everyone BURST out cheering <3 Long live Dir En Grey!

  • @animefanker i saw that shit too on shokubeni he took the mic away for the chorus n showbox wen ape shit very brutal

  • This song is one of the best songs anyone could here why did people dislike this they need to die...>.<

  • we, the darness

  • i LOVE this song!! XO fits any mood! :):):):)

  • I haven't looked up a Diru song in so long. I actually like this

  • im american..and the only language i know is english...but when i listen to dir en grey it's like every word he speaks reaches out and touches my heart...it's in these moments that i think about the meanings of life and realise the people that i have that mean the most to me

  • really like the sound of the song, just wish i new what he was saying. any translation thingies i could use?

  • @DrkAllanon

just write in the google: "dir en grey ware yami tote english translation" :)

  • You can tell they build their music around the lyrics. Because red soil appears to be about their disgust with how the world is turning out, and that whole song just sounds pissed/frustrated.

  • @omgitznick I know exactly what you mean so here's a few: Zankuro, Mushi, Conceived Sorrow (the unplugged is great for this), Namamekashiki ansoku (if you like the piano the unplugged version is also great), and last and my favorite Ain't afraid to die.

Also, their earlier stuff is softer.

  • @cemarz okay thanks alot :)

  • @cemarz one of my favourite is Glass Skin.

  • can anyone give me names of other songs similar to this one? when i mean similar i mean no hardcore growling, (i like kodou and the pledge and stuff like that) i love kyo's voice. just not the growling lol

  • @OmGiTzNiCk i think thier lightest song was glass skin, it was the closest i felt to this

  • My favorite song is Concieved sorrow and this song reminds me of it so it my second and my other one is Namamekahiki Ansoku, Tomadoi ni Hohoemi....dang I like all of them Lmao XD

  • heartwrenching.

  • <3 !

  • I wouldn´t say it´s the only song, but in most of them are a lot of screams and shrieks if you know what I mean. Maybe that´s why we can´t really understand about what the song could be.

And I don´t really know why you got so many thumbs down o.O.

  • Ther is nothing like dir en grey. whenever i hear there songs i literaly go breathless. Ther music excites me :3 I havent liked any band so much scince i first heard msi but dir en grey surpasses every band out there :3

  • There's nothing I can imagine about Kyo's life, but his messeges always grab my heart whenever Dir en grey make new songs. I just follow his words.

  • & I think it should stay this way

We don't need to know anything about him :)

  • you understand it ;-)

  • There's something special with Dir en Grey... it feels like everything they do is something new...

  • It's stuff like this that make me laugh when people say things like Dir En Grey's music is becoming "American", as I just saw in the comments of another video. Even in their heavier songs, they have a very distinct sound and feel to their music. It's so good that whether you understand the words or not doesn't matter--you get it anyway.

    Excellent song. :D

  • It's very pretty. ♥♥

  • i never regret not falling out of love with diru. i'll love them forever since teenhood! getting better all the time

  • so this is what....'good' music sounds like...and it took me 18 years to find it.

  • this song makes meh think a lot and it also makes me cry because the beat n sound of it made me fall in love with it but at the end when kyo screams i just nod through it and i sometimes cry but also when i listen to diru they help me create awesome songs because i write music myself and i thank fur that thanx guys fur being so sugoi! keep being awesome loves ya!

  • J'aime *__*

  • Concieved Sorrow similarity? o_0

  • Not really. Conceived sorrow is a complete different story, when it comes to the setting and the mood of the song.

  • This song is amazing... it sounds so sad and so meaningful, despite not knowing what Kyo's saying in english..

    Thats what makes it powerful!!

  • What a different opening n.n

  • i feel in love with this song the first time i heard it. I feel in love with dir en grey and now an addicted fan. this song has so much meaning. dir en grey is so much more than a japanese band. they give meaning to what they do and it's than more what most bands do. Dir en grey is awesome. i hope we can enjoy listening to them from years to come

  • I don't know why but this song makes me cry. :[ I get chills every time I hear this. Kyo truly is inspiring, as is the rest of dir en grey. I always feel a connection when he sings. I don't need to know the english lyrics to know what message he is sending. That's just how awesome his talent is.

  • Kyo has such a great voice.. T.T

  • This song is Kyo's message to his fans.

  • i'm a girl and I can't sing that high. xD diru is amazing

  • When it comes to music these guys are one of japan's finest

  • they are JAPAN's finest, idc about you alice nine, gazette and ancafe fans im fans of them too but if you can't see dir en grey is better you FAIL AT LIFE!

  • Dir en grey is the WORLD's finest

  • One thing in music (rule if u wanna call it that) is never to compare bands that have different styles. Compare genres but not the bands that have grown with different surroundings & influences. Yes, Dir en grey is an awesome band but so is Gazette in their own ways (saying Gazette cuz of the constant diru & gazette comparisons) I love Dir en greys deepness in their songs but so do I love the other kind of deepness GazettE offers. Get me? Its like saying Muse is better than Radiohead....

  • That is exactly why I hate people who compare Dir en grey's albums! They all have completely styles from one cd to the next, how can you compare it? It's totally different.

  • @kizume8 Starting a flame war now:

Radiohead is better than Muse because all Muse's songs sound alike.

  • @aperpetualsuffering both suck cause this is a dir en grey page not a radiohead or muse page

  • lol xD

  • This song is so awesome!!!

  • just awesome

  • Such a powerful song, for me- definatly one of the best on the album! Love it

  • hey, when i downloaded inconvenient ideal, it was some american-sounding politian type explaining that he hadnt had sex with some person but that we should go join some free club. red soil was the same track. so, was that someone else screwing around with stuff, not our beloved DEG making some sort of political statement?

  • Yer I had that when I downloaded one of their trax 2! I just discarded it... thought it was junk! Hope I am not wrong lolz

  • Try looking it up on Livejournal. I believe they have the whole album for download. Try googling, "Download album Uroboros livejournal" or something. :D Or, you could go to Hot Topic and buy it yourself and get a CD cover and digital card and cool stuff.

  • it was probably bill clinton... xD

  • This song is just wonderful. It's my favorite of Uroboros, with Inconvenient Ideal.

I don't know which word can describe Kyo's voice, it's just amazing *_*

  • Kyo's voice is just incredible throughout the whole CD, This is one of the few bands that is legitimately good

  • I love this song!

is one of my favourite songs of UROBOROS ♥!

the voice of kyo in this one makes me cry!..

    u.u

  • and you sound like every other psychologist faggot...

  • Dude.

  • get back to /b/

  • There was nothing about my comment that was random. So no.

  • this really is a beautiful song....

  • im on ur side its true

  • you are calling other people fags when your watching hannah montana while filming your puppy? thats a damn cute dog though and being gay is no no good so YA TEBIA LYU BLYU yeah babe

  • lol you win at life

  • Wonderful, as expected from DEG.
