but what if someone gets an autograph outside a official signing where a coa is given? is that automaticly not a real autograph. i go to training camps and get signatures with not coa, r they real? if i needed to sell them on ebay say for school money, would my autographs automaticly be questioned as real?

i beg to differ. the athletes are 100% to blame.it takes what?1 minute to sign ur damn name 10 times.that makes 600 x an hour at say 50 bux a pop from a holes like farve, $30000 for giving a fans an hour of their time.think if u made 5-10 mil a year off fans of yours,and u had 50000 auto requests from them.would u do it?

could easily do that in 10 days out of a year. 2 reasons they dont , either a. they dont give a chit about fans or b. it would drive their auto price down. PURE GREED!!!!!!!!

I totally agree. You MUST buy from people who you trust (not just because they have a long Positive feedback list of buyers). Compare. Research. And watch Tom's videos. I do a lot with PSA/DNA...and I won't do anything without either buying a PSA/DNA label...or if I 100% believe it's real (with research), I ask if I can get a refund if it doesn't pass PSA/DNA standards. You'd be surprised how many either do response to me, or say "I didn't get it signed in person" and back away!

Tom, Cam Newton does sign. Saw him here in Arizona the day before the BCS game. I watched him sign for probably a couple hundred people. He signed for over an hour.

I've been doing some research on purchasing an autographed jersey. I have yet to purchase one because I'm not sure what to look for in regards of authenticity. Does PSA/DNA/JSA automatically make it authentic? How about UDA? I know I'm not a "real collector" but I'm trying to learn so that I can hopefully become one. Thanks for any help you can give.

I got curious and looked up Cam Newton autographs on ebay. I saw awhole "2" autographs that were jsa authenticated. A lot of them are being sold by people that have inhouse coas. Makes you wonder...

Most of the people who get his autograph down in Auburn simply want them for themselves and will never release them. But these sellers have sold over a dozen Cam Newton autographs on footballs, jersey items, photos, etc. Yeah right.

they aways have catchy names like one nation something, so and so authentics. tri-state autos, whatever. people fall for that. all they need to do before they bid is look at what else the seller has for sale, and their feedback history, and you can figure out the junk they have. but stupid buyers just bid with blinders on.
