Nice shape, but why would a glider need a super-sonic wing?

y are delta wings always used for slope gliding?
angrygunsmith 2 years ago
because they are very effeciant and manouverable
qacermacer 2 years ago
i guess so, funny how full scale gliders still maintain traditional shape.
yeah
can it fly?
pilotdynan 2 years ago
@pilotdynan yea, it flies surprisingly well for a first attempt. my more recent efforts are powered by an electric motor which makes staying in the air far less weather dependent (and easier).
that is awesome and gave me a great idea for a foam glider im gonna be building thats seriously impressive with the ps2 controller

you should get a real rc transmitter with expo and epa and trims
cod4madass 2 years ago
that would defeat the purpose of building it my self though.

i think u should get a real controller.
not to be mean and all, that is very cool and impressive.
but a real conntrol is far more sensitive and easier 2 use :D

whats the range? must be terribly short!
mordoringer 3 years ago
i presume you mean range of the RC?
i have not actually tested it's maximum range but it's over a kilometer Line Of Sight.
or maybe 200 meters with buildings in the way.
dunk.
thats pretty impressive.
i'm working on a more advanced version that can do 2 way communication so i can get data back from the plane. battery life, airspeed, etc.
this can suck my dick
