@thejess1992 Pimsleur, It is good and you will learn some dailog. Just keep lisyening to it over and over, get the language in your ear. The total price for all the lessons can be expensive. Dont do RS. Japanese for Busy people is good, Genki is good and Assimil is Good. do some looking around and get feed back about the methods. AND WHATEVER you choose start learning the KANA (thats the only downside to Pimsleur, no reading and writing.

@sora5422 Hiragana is the equivalent to the Cursive writing in our roman writing. Katakana is like the "print" version of our Roman writing. Kanji is the Chinese characters and if i'm right, they aren't syllables like Kana (Hiragana+Katakana.)

I know "annata wa" could come before it, but from what i understand japanese is a pro-drop language and there is no need to say it if it is implied from the context. or am i wrong? plz help!
