It used to be the "Baked Potato". But over the last several years the new elite musician jam spot is at this dive either on Sunset or Santa Monica Blvds west of town. Not sure what the name is. It's mentioned in a Drumheadmag interview. I'd go and sit in with the the best if I were you. Don't be shy about it. Just go throw yourself into deep water...you'll do great!! Moving to L.A. myself come January.
are those Berkley shed sessions ever gonna be put out, like, as a whole, or just the current youtube clips??? There is some fantastic drumming on those..
Having played drumset for 30yrs. Having taken lessons with Dennis & Weckl. Having seen some of the greats over the decades from feet away, Matt your allready in the pantheon in my opinion You might want to consider moving in Ny or LA.
