I dont think quartzite would make good blades, it is too grainy. It is probably best to reserve the best obsidians and flints for blade making....jim

Okay, I have resolved with the video information that I had some doubts for the construction of these types of core, we present in Italy.

I only doubt remains about how they were made with flint!?

I believe the same technique will work with high quality flint. If you have any pictures of cores and blades from Italy I would very much appreciate seeing them. thanks....jim
