  • great vid it must be getting warmer in uk lets hope anyway

  • I'm looking at two pairs in a tree in Harrow Weald, first time I have seen them around here

  • Theres tonnes of these living in a tree at the end of my garden in Chislehurst.I have seen them every morning, for years. My cat is quite viscious and has killed 3 that i know about. Also i have seen magpies attacking them, but there is so many round here. There is between 15-20 in the big tree at the end of my garden every morning. There chirp is annoying and wakes me up...

  • They are everywhere from Richmond to Brent and more...:))

  • I wish all of our bird were so colorful in england ,its a nice change from the grey pigions im used to. I thought I was going mad for a minute but this video confirms it -they are parrots...i am amazed!!!

  • dude im looking out of my window right a NOW and i can see three in one tree ...i live in south london brixton and thats very urban...

  • Also in Rome (Italy)

    Cafarella Parck and many district

    of rome center...

  • It must be lovely to have parrots in UK, it makes it feel more tropical!

  • i used to live in chislehurst ,kent, and in winter and spring i would see flocks of these parakeets flying together, especialy in the rain! lol, and not just green ones, yellow ones aswel, they look amazing

  • Hi, yes having looked at your pic's your right they do look like Ringnecks. They appear to be living in a near by park! have seen them regularly now each winter for the last 3 years! I assume they must migrate in the summer as you don't see them then. Makes a nice change from the normal birds! although they do damage the last of the apples on the tree :) but don't mind to much.

  • i was livong in kent and was watching them for w while, in summer they pair up to breed and you dont tend to see them in flocks like you do in winter when they gather to feed at bird tables etc. but in summer i would see them just as much but more in the forrest area rather than the gardens since food becomes available to them there aswel in summer, and they need to stay close to their nest holes in the trees and keep away other parakeets etc etc :-D,
